Oh come on BTF, be fair to the royals. They're even buyin into austerity by recycling a dead princesses engagement ring. We're all in this together, just keep repeating that.

I don't ever get the physical paper, I only read the internet version. Can't see the story on there.
-
I see the Echo has gone quiet on reporting that at least one of the accused had beem found not guilty. Typcial of the rag.

I've got this issue with the "justice" system full stop. Once you're in the public domain as a rapist, football hooligan etc the **** sticks regardless of innocence.

Two excellent high level books for you Bridgey. They cover a huge amount at a 10,000 mile high altitude. What on Earth happened? ...in Brief by Christopher Lloyd A Short history of nearly everything by Bill Bryson otherwise specifically on "us".... A History of England in a Nutshell by John Mathew A History of Modern Britain by Andrew Marr

Fair enough, I do know some England fans that have Celtic because of their Irish connections and the links to causes some of the fans agree with. As it happens, they ought to remember that Irish citizens died in the world wars and no doubt still do to this day fighting in the British army.
-
Legitimate yes, but also highly inflamatory in Glasgow.
-
In fairness to the Celtic fans though JJSaint and GWC aren't you over generalising just a little here? Or is there an anti Irish slant to the postings?
-
That statement covers both sides of the footballing side of Glasgow. An extremely unfortunate incident, the club are going to give life bans to the fans who were "involved". Does holding up the banner count as involved!

I don't believe there's any onsite parking tonight.

Sorry guys haven't looked on here today *****il now!) and I let someone on Freecycle have it.
-
Guys, Before I put it on freecycle does anyone want a free Hoover washing machine? 7.5 kg wash load. AA rated. 7 years old. Model number HNF3147. I'm based in West End. Mike.

In fairness though Phil, the offer was accepted before these new ones cams in, so surely it's a verbal contract? Anyway, one of the other "offers" from a US hedge fund (Mills somethings) is very dodgy as they were one of the original backers of hicks or gillet and recouped their money after he defaulted on the loan! As with us, I thought the board at Anfield had to have the best interests of the club at heart and could turn down a higher bid if they thought long term they'd be better off under NESV?

Seriously, change the record Tory boy. I'm sick to death of hearing that everytime there's an interview with a politician! Make sure you enjoy the Tory party for five years (even if you didn;t vote for them); they're ****ing off middle England so much that they'll be voted out in the next election. Mind you. at least it's a change from the usual Tory policies or protecting middle England and the rich bastards and ****ing over the poor.

Chaplow or Schneiderlin vs 'Udders?
GenevaSaint replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
Hammond really hasn't shown us what we bought him for. He does look better recently I agree, but his passing is still woeful. When chappers is match fit, him and Morgan would be first on my team sheet in midfield. -
while we're on the subject, I hate the Scots! Scottish and study in Scotland? FREE English or Welsh PAY EU Citizen FREE Work that one out given that the UK economy as a whole contributes to Scotland. cvnts

Best go to the University of Amsterdam Mikey. 1600 Euro per year for their courses.

Very narrow minded Mears, we need to be self financing.

Ah yes, couldn't remember what the site was called. As you say it's a very large area. Saw something in the Echo about it all a few days ago, they've built something already, I think it was only the recycling piece though. I know it's all a long way off, but at least the site move is underway, paving the way for the plans and all. 2 - 3 years isn't that long and hopefully the economy will have recovered by then.
