Saint Garrett

Will be a shame for the little lat to retire, he was a gem for us a few years ago, btu i wouldnt want to ruin the memories we all hae of him, with him coming back and being crap. he's had his time in a saints shirt and was loved while here...but he couldnt dajfu now IMO.

He is a cracking player with a lot of potential, and exactly the kind of player that we need. Defence and attack he is a huge asset, and thats coming from someone who slated him for being lazy and having the touch of a rapist for the majority of the time that he was with us...apart from the last season.

I think Gillett and Schneiderlin could be a very effective centre midfield partnership to be honest. Gillett was immense at the start of the season alongside Schneiderlin and him getting stuck in would allow morgan to use his class to spray the passes and add to the creative side of the team. We're not far away from havign a decent team at all, just need to be a bit more streetwise and a bit cleverer when we are going to play certain opposition. We seem to prepare for every game the same way, playing the same way which will not work. The game on saturday was one of the first times that we have set out to play in a different way and it worked. I do think howeverr that our passing game could work next week though, as Doncaster also play some good stuff. UTS !

Dailly would be a fantastic signing IMO. Reads the game so well and he controlled our defence when he was there last year. He is also a danger from setpieces up the other end, exactly what we need.

I didnt think it was even a foul, let alone a red card. Yes his studs were up, but there was no intention there, the ball wa sthere to be won, and to be fair to him, he got the ball.

Whats the point in that !? Why can't we just sell our players and get a bit of money fo them, rather than just letting them go out on loan to our rivals?! Bad times when swansea city are paying players more than us..

We have bought in some very poor players since the start of the season, that don't look like they're going to make any impact at all. Also doesn't help bringing in players when they are injured and then paying them to get fit before they can play!! If they can't get in this current saints side, then (although it is a long way away) we start going up the table, then they aren't gonig to get in the side anyway...maybe we're just preparing ourselves for next year in League 1.

Unfortunately, that is not their only job. Some just score goals, some just run around a lot with not a lot of end product. But a 'goal scoring' centre forward wouldn't have missed half the chances stern missed last year. Ok his goals did end up keeping us in the league, but i believe there were better options than him anyway. There are strikers out there that score goals, and contribute to the team as well....kenwyne jones, james beattie just to name two...

As i saw it, it was the same as we've been playing all season.... Davis James Cork Perry Skacel -----Gillet--Gobern----- Smith--Mcgoldrick--Holmes -------Paterson-------- This is how we started. BWP came on for Smith who then swapped sides with Holmes, then Mclaggon came on for him. When Euell came on for Paterson, Mcgoldrick went up front on his own with Euell 'in the hole'. No idea how some people could see it any other way ?!

Surely if we win its an added bonus, but everyone will expect us to get soundedly beaten. So i dont think getting thumped by Man Utd would hurt the team that much. Surely losing 1-0 to Rotherham would hurt far more than losing 5-0 against Utd??
