As well as this summer has been, if we don't sign at least 1 striker or quality AM, I think it's a real big missed opportunity. But, there is only 13 games until Jan window... I was expecting at least 1 forward player, possibly 2.

Yeah it's very odd, but I guess because the club have historically been pretty good at keeping stuff quiet, there might be something out the woodwork somewhere....It would be far from ideal to not sign one after all the great work we've done this summer.

Not his problem that he's not good enough, it's the clubs fault that he's played so much. But I have to say that he's not let anyone down ever through effort, and was part of that defence that won up at Anfield which I'll always be grateful for. Wish him the best of luck, probably a bit of a shame it's not a permanent deal, as if him and Bednarek are out on loan, we might find ourselves with 8 centre backs next summer
