  1. Probably because Troyes are owned my Man City and we have something weird going on with them. Like Romeu going to Girona too.
  2. The Brazilian Maldini
  3. Surely too small for their style of football?
  4. Could be massive for us this season, assuming he stays. He’s quality but predictably volatile form at his age. No doubt confidence played a part last year, but he was also not good enough for the prem last year. He also needs coaching to put a bit more of a shift in. I’d stick him in the “jogger” group last season along with the likes of Aribo and AMN. If we can get him on board working hard, he could score 15-20 goals this season.
  5. Pretty sure I saw Diallo in one of the videos.
  6. "Loveeeelllllyyyyy.....Niceeeee...If we can now start enjoying ourselves and communicating what a morning we'll have"
  7. Although there is no doubt Baz was a liability last season, you'd like to think this will be his level next season. And as long as we have someone else competent that can step in for him if he's struggling (Macca / Willy) I've got no problem with him being first choice next season. The club has invested a decent amount of money into him, and I can't imagine they're going to give up on him that quickly. We can always re-assess in January if necessary. Is it the ideal solution? Probably not. But I certainly see it as an option. You'd also hope we have a more competent defence for the level we're at in front of him next season too.
  8. Let’s not forget that our squad is bloated right now. If 10 more left and 5 were brought in we might still need to lose a few more. some of those will go, but some will stay. I definitely thought KWP, Adams and Salisu would be off sharpish due to their contractual situations, but not even really been linked atm,
  9. Who knows. I thinks it's one of those that he'd be happy to go if its the right offer, but also happy to stay and cement his place in Saints folklore. I certainly don't think he'll be pushing to move like others have done in the past. It will also probably depend on conversations he's had with Southgate, as to whether he has any chance of being part of the England squad for the next big tournament. He's seems to have Bellingham, Rice, Phillips, Maddison, Gallagher, Mount, Henderson, possibly also Trent / Willock / Ramsey in front of him at the moment, so maybe that will have a smaller affect than we originally thought. It would not surprise me at all if he stays.
  10. Cracking business from WH, got it done early too. Surprised Arsenal didn’t wait a bit to push price down.
  11. “Niiiicccccceeeeee”
  12. Have you tried calling them up? I had a bit of credit from last season I was planning to use, but have left it in there for now. Normally they are much more helpful on the phone than online.
  13. Rice looks like its done to Arsenal. Kovacic gone to City, Caceido in talks with Chelsea, Bellingham and Tonali both have gone. Sounds like Phillips is staying at City for now. All the top clubs apart from seemingly City, want Lavia, so will be interesting how much they want him, or whether they'll let him return to City next summer. for a bargain fee. West Ham will now be on the hunt for 2 CM's it seems, probably Palhina from Fulham, which might be why JWP is being linked with Fulham. The merry-go-round has started!
  14. FFS, season hasn’t even started yet and a game affected by trains.
  15. The only reason we would even entertain a bid that low, is if we were absolutely skint. You could buy him at that price, he could be crap, and you could still sell him at that price. Before his injury he was probably a £40-50m player. It would seem like a very odd move for all parties if I’m honest, but you never know with football. £15m is an insult, and I certainly wouldn’t want Ryan Fraser.
  16. Lets hope he does a better job than Jones did with his pre-season.
  17. I’d take a bag of crisps for him, get rid, awful awful footballer
  18. Yup - completely agree. You'd expect we'd want upwards of £30m for him, and no way someone like Brighton would be spending that on him. when he's been out for a season. He also wants to stay, so think it's a non starter unless a silly bid comes in.
  19. £30m. fuck off, Wouldn’t sell him for that at all got to be 50m+
  20. Wonder if someone like West Ham could come in for Lavia this summer. May be more willing to splash the £50-60m we seem to want on him too.
  21. Welcome Russell! Big build up but glad it’s now official. Let’s see what you can do,
  22. Hmm. First I've heard of it, but who knows. Maybe they stuck some false info out there, but, given it's based on parts of the badge, I'm almost certain the away shirt is white with sky blue trim, (guessing the water) and the third kit is black with yellow (trees)
  23. I think it's time for you to let go of last season, get behind the club, and move forward. I'm sure they know they fucked up last season. Personally they have my full backing next season. If we have another nightmare year, then it might start wearing thin, but ultimately they have money and seem to be backing the club. Let hope they learn from their mistakes, but wouldn't surprise me if we're top spenders in the division this season.
  24. Let’s be honest. All three of us, Leeds and Leicester are completely unknown quantities atm. All 3 will have new managers, different ideas and a huge turnover of playing staff. We could all be midtable or we could all be top 3. Who knows.
  25. I didn’t say they would. I just said £45m would be a bargain. I expect us to sell for a fee higher than the guaranteed price next year.
