Seems like a poor deal for all parties, IMO. Why would he not just want to stay and get us back up like he said he would...
-
Any shouts for away pubs? Ideally not spoons if can be helped. Both before and after the game? Appreciate it's early KO... Long time since I've been to Plymouth, so no idea of any good pubs

Romeo Lavia - Official: Signs for Not Liverpool
Saint Garrett replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
Wish him the best of luck, will be interesting watching his career pan out. Such a fantastic young talent. There probably isn't a better manager out there to develop him than Poch, but will he be given the chances at Chelsea, and given it's a bit of a basket case club with 50 new signings it might take a while for them to find the right formula. I worry for him that he won't get enough minutes with Caceido and Enzo there. -
He is trash there, IMO, because his ball retention is awful. If you were drawing it out on paper, you're probably choosing between him and Charly for the "#10" position. But, he's not 100% fit, but playing against a team that will park the bus which I'm sure that many will do to us this season, he should be useful in that "#8" position with 1 holding. He's also a great option off the bench IMO, as he showed at Sheff Weds. We shall see...

News to me...!
-
They took it to wind up city fans about not winning the Quad apparently.
-
Pretty sure it’s all done, will be announced tomorrow supposedly…

From memory, wasn't there a load of Exeter fans in the home end or something? Celebrating their relegation? My memory is rather hazy though. Remember a load of Plymouth fans hiding in the park and then launching rocks at saints fans as we left the ground which was nice... Really looking forward to this weekend though, despite early start. Should be a good game, they're a really good side, full of confidence. We are a bit of an unknown quantity, and far from the finished article. I'd say a very good time to play us. Assuming Downes is fit... Bazunu KWP Bednarek Stephens Manning Charles Downes Alcaraz Armstrong Adams Tella
-
Bit of an insult on Baz, Macca is appalling these days.
-
Raya is an excellent keeper, I’m fully expecting him to replace Ramsdale.
-
Not atm...bit of an odd one.
-
I'd say thats largely bollocks, especially given they all had 40% reductions. There is absolutely no chance that Aribo was on £120k a week last season.

How nice would it to go to St Mary's and have a convincing home win, with a few goals. Home form has been awful for so long, this has to be the start of something. I do worry about the whole club being unsettled though, and Norwich capitalising on that. I'd go with the following: Bazunu; KWP Stephens Bednarek Manning Smallbone Charles Alcaraz Tella AArmstrong Edozie / SArmstrong
-
He'd have to want to play for the club for that to happen...
-
Smallbone / Charles
-
It's quite easy for Liverpool to leak to the press to push the deal through...
-
From what I've been told he doesnt want to go to Liverpool, and is holding out for City...don't see City coming in for him though.
-
First time going here, will be driving. Can anyone recommend where to park / away pub?
-
I wouldn’t be selling him for £35m personally if we don’t need the money. He’s worth more than that to us IMO. He’s fantastic and could easily carry on playing into his later 30s given his reliability, his fitness, and the fact he doesn’t rely on pace. Just my opinion though,
-
Would expect Macca, Bree, Lyanco, Perraud/Larios? Charles, Stuey, Aribo, Moussa, Mara to all play if fit enough. Poss AArmstrong, Meghoma, SAA, Ballard. Been on holiday so didn’t get to Sheff, but really looking forward to this one!
-
Really like him, he’s got a plan and he’s implementing it. He speaks incredibly well and you feel completely on board with what he’s trying to do. The change in a month or so has been remarkable, compare it with Nathan Jones who made us considerably worse after 5 weeks of training,

Reminds me of when Onuachu signed. Looks hopeless.

Can’t help but feel we’d be better off just keeping Lis, unless we think that Lis will be involved in first team in the future and giving him games at Goztepe. This bloke won’t play, unless we are absolutely desperate.
