I can understand people blaming him for a bit of our downfall, but I just don't see how people can dislike him. But clearly they do. I just dont get it. Always seems a top bloke to me, talks about football in a really interesting manner, and he's still such a young coach. Will be really interesting to see where his career goes, can see it going either way if the right opportunities arise. Sure he'll get an ovation the next time he's at St Marys.

Probably need RB CM AM Winger 3 strikers assuming they all leave.

Well I’d probably go with the following team today, Lallana in for the “voice” over Fernandes. Happy for Fernandes to start though as he’s class. Wonder if we might go with 1 “pivot” in Downes given it’s Ipswich. I want a LB at LB please. Don’t mind who starts RB. Diaz playing through the middle to give us a focal point. We’re 4 games in, a load of new players and 3 games of expect us to lose anyway (Newcastle, Brentford and United) Dont think we need to hit the panic button yet. I absolutely trust Martin, and if we go down then I back him to bring us back up next season.

Squad is in a bit of an odd place right now. Everyone is probably starting with Ramsdale Bednarek Downes The rest you can make an argument for/against 5 or 4 at the back Which 2 of KWP/Suga/Taylor will start? Very harsh to leave out either Suga or KWP but we need some balance on the left. THB & Stephens looking short of quality and confidence right now. Could also include Bednarek in the same argument Which 2 of Fernandes/Ugo/Lallana/Dibling/Smallbone/Aribo will start alongside Downes Will Dibling be thrown in from the start? Diaz, Armstrong, Archer have all looked pretty ineffective, mainly due to the tactics. Do we drop Diaz & Armstrong? Who plays in the wide areas? Will depend if its 433 or 5-5 formation. Parents always loved them, so they were the sound of my childhood. I Saw them in Philadelphia in 2000 when I was 10, again in 2005 at the Rose Bowl, and again at Wembley in 2009 before they split. Seen NGHFB & LG multiple times in recent years including Knebworth a few years ago. Absolutely epic. Managed to grab 2 tickets for me and the wife for the Saturday night in Cardiff on Saturday morning before the "dynamic pricing" got involved, and I'm absolutely buzzing. Feel incredibly lucky to have got tickets, as some of the stories you hear of people getting to the front of the queue and then it kicking them out are crazy. Enjoy...

It's true, he didnt want to go, and definitely didn't want to go to West Ham. But ultimately they were the only club who came in for him in the end, which was why the fee was relatively low for such a good player. It will be interesting to see what happens with him in the next few weeks.

Hi, Does anyone have any recommendations for any live bands in the Hampshire area? I am trying to organise a 40th Birthday party and I'm after a live band, (ideally a motown/funk/soul kind of vibe) Budget is probably up to £1500 but ideally around the £1200 mark if possible. They either seem to be mega money (£2500+) or shit, but that might just be the going rate these days...I may have to re-think if it's going to be that pricey. Most recommendations welcome... Thanks

The bigger question for me - will we go back to a 4 at the back and more attacking, or will be shoehorn Stephens into the side still? Wouldn'tbe surprised if no changes from Saturday. Surely no way THB or Bednarek get dropped, and feels like Sugawara & KWP will play. For me, if we play 4-3-3 or similar, the left side is a bit of a problem as IMO Edozie isn't good enough, and Sulemana is injured. Is Diaz better through the middle? If we go 4-3-3 then I'd go the following. Harsh on Aribo who I thought had a very decent game on Saturday, but don't think they brought Ugochukwu in to sit on the bench, likewise Fernandes...? Gaston Ramirez Alderweireld Osvaldo Mighy just have been the time, but genuine international known quality when they signed. All relative but THB last season too, exactly what we needed. Still looking for that bit of class we haven’t had since the days of Tadic/Mane/Pelle. We’d never be able to afford players like that these days.
