Slightly off topic but at the Chelsea home game the Northam were trying a new song. No idea what it was but can anyone help? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Hoedt and Stephens. Neither good enough for the premier league. And by the way, I don’t think fans were howling for 2 up front. Just a no 10 who was an attacker who looked to link with the striker. Oh... and austin is an absolute carthorse. No pace, can’t win it in the air, doesn’t run the channels. You literally have to put it on a plate for him 10 yards out and then he might score. Anyone see his virtual air kick today followed by a half volley which was going 20 yards wide? He’s championship quality .. maybe league 1 We are down people and personally I’m glad Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

To be fair Wigan were the better side for an hour Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

2 weeks of training with mark Hughes and we look more clueless than before. I genuinely didn’t think it was possible. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hope none of you were relying on the 6.55 or 7.55 am trains in the morning. They’ve both been cancelled. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Fair play West Ham fans. Shame all we do is ***** on here and no obvious dissent at st marys Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Genuinely don’t understand this clamour for Silva. Took hull down and was sacked by Watford. Not exactly an impressive track record is it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Same old same old. I genuinely can’t believe Pellegrino isn’t deliberately trying to get the sack and a pay off. And I really hope a proper football club come in and take gabbi in the summer so he can play some football. Way too talented to be warming the bench for us Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

WBA deserved a draw at least. Incredibly lucky to win. Bearing in mind WBA are by far the weakest team in the league it doesn’t bode well. Average 1st half and then yet again an MP half time team talk and we were all over the shop 2nd half. Hoedt reminds me of a Sunday league defender. Looks great abou 70% of the time but commits a few absolute howlers every game. Didn’t see anything today that makes me think we’ll get out of trouble in the league. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Ha ha ha! Just read this thread. All of you saying silva is the answer, can you explain why? Took hull down and was taking Watford down hence why he was sacked. I want MP out but Christ.. you’ll be better off with me in charge rather than Silva. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Just got home. Absolutely dreadful. A bit of fight for the first 30 mins but as soon as the 2nd goal went in there was nothing. The frustrating thing is we all know that the ability of this squad should have us easily in the top ten. Gutless. Bertie and lemina are the only 2 who come out with any credit. Why is yoshi not starting? 10 times the defender Stephens is And every striker we play seems to go backwards within minutes of getting round the stink that is saints. Gabbi, long , and now Carrillo all look Sunday league players in this system. It’s not because they’re poor.../it’s the system. Please please please sack this clueless manager now. Guessing that we will make a decent fist of it today but ultimately end up losing. Really hope we give it a go rather than play the normal damage limitation tactics. I would go with this for a starting XI McCarthy Cedric hoedt yoshi Bertie Romeu Tadic lemina gabbi boufal Carrillo 4 1 4 1 Never gonna happen I know but I reckon it would be damn exciting to watch! Thread is hilarious. MP massively panicking as he knew today was last chance saloon, so he played a massively different team in terms of personnel and tactics compared to what he likes to play. He got a result. Maybe he’ll learn. Or ( my bet is) he’ll go straight back next week to a defensive line up and pray for a nil nil Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My starting #saintsfc XI for the baggies... McCarthy Cedric. Hoedt. Yoshi. Bertie Hojberg. Lemina Tadic. Gabbi. Boufal Carrillo. Will never happen under this buffoon as it’s way too attacking but would love to see how this team could play. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Cheers... not quite on my own then. Tbh thought it might be less than that. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Anyone know what ticket sales are like? Am I going to be sat on my own?

Redmond probably rested to shield him from the mong fans who would just boo him. Truly incredible line up. Never thought I’d say this but hope we get tonked 4 nil and then sack this frickin clueless idiot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Wow. Same old same old. Absolutely NOTHING inspiring about that line up. * tiptoes away when we win 3 nil * Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Love this thread! There was me hoping to catch up on potential targets but no... just the usual *****ing at each other. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Charlies' not stupid - 3 match ban once it's been analysed will give him a nice little break over the festive period.

The up side is I can't make it today as have to work. Only missed West Ham and Everton home games so far so I fully expect us to spank them by 4 at least, despite the continued bewildering team selection.

Absolute dross. We were never in it. Forget the stats... there was only one team that looked like scoring and it wasn’t us. With MP we have a relegation battle on our hands. Finally that Pompey fan dalek gets what he wishes for. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Will suits saints perfectly as we set up to counter attack with redmond and possibly long starting. A plucky display but won’t quite be good enough as we lose 3..1. Still, 1st away day with my lad whose come of age so some beers on the train up and then Earl’s Court will help numb the pain. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well I guess we can agree to disagree on individual home performances last year, but I seem to remember we struggled to get out of our defensive third v hull so we brought on Shane long and tried to boot it over the top in an attempt to get up the pitch. But yes, there were some good performances last season under puel... notably the cup final. And I’m aware this is not the Harlem globetrotters. However, that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t expect to see some notion of attacking exciting football and taking the game to the opposition. You are aware it’s not an endurance sport right? Professional sport with thousands of paying fans is meant to be a fun thing to be involved in...I think most of us have been watching through gritted teeth for about a year. Turgid football, zero atmosphere, st Mary’s is not a fun place to go these days. Oh.. and for all the talk, me and those around me who questioned whether they were going to renew did. And stayed until the end last night. And will still be renewing when we’re back down in league one. Puel was poor for us, MP is even worse. That doesn’t make the decision to get rid of puel was wrong, it means the decision to employ MP was. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Hahahahaha!!!! I can only guess that most of the puel in brigade don’t have season tickets. Because the football from January last season was probably the most dull I’ve seen in 30 Year’s of going to st Mary’s. Most of the ST holders around me were seriously debating whether to renew because the level of entertainment was zero. Yes.. we finished 8th. So what?? I’d rather have finished 17th and enjoyed some exciting football. Yes.. we got to a cup final. Let’s not re write history here... if Liverpool had brought their shooting boots they’d have stuck 4 past us in the semi. Watching us set up at home to play defensively and on the counter attack at home to HULL was a particularly low moment. I didn’t expect Reed to go for a similarly inept manager 2nd time round but he gets a buzz from gambling on a bargain doesn’t he? Thick and entitled? The OP is a 1st class pri#k.
