1st score prediction I saw on build up thread was 3 nil Saints Lambo 1st scorer. Put a tenner on at 35/1. Come On!!!!!!

My god!! For a bunch of people listening to a game on a radio you certainly seem to have incredible vision!! Lots of 'points' being made about who played well and who didn't. Jeez... reading your comments makes me want to end it all! The TWO fans who actually went to the game were pretty positive about our performance (guess that won't be you again then Alps) Adkins has been around about 2 and a bit weeks with games coming thick and fast. Give the guy a little bit longer to get the best out of the players and get us promoted. We're still only a few points and a good run off getting to the top.

:) Definitely my favourite post of the day (so far)

Hesitant To Post This, But Me I'm Out Of Patience
wessex saint replied to TijuanaTim's topic in The Saints
Well it's not bloody good enough!! 6 points off the top already!! ok a game in hand but I ask you. Just because we've just signed someone good enough to play in the top league in Italy, I'm not happy. Surely with all our money we should have signed Kaka by now. Honestly... if we dare to drop another point then AP should be sacked along with Cortese for giving him the rope. That would than make room for my dream ticket of Branfoot and Jones... I call them my dream BJ..... -
Sorry to hear about the lisp

Apologies guys.. Having read back last night I can see that I fell into playing the local game called squaddie baiting. Some of my remarks were OTT and I have an awful lot of respect for the servicemen/women who serve this country. To get back on topic I still don't believe they should benefit from free tickets anymore than a number of sectors in society but to be fair, if you don't ask you don't get.

I hear what you're saying .... but when they go on leave for a month in August the town takes on a happy go lucky vibe... everyone comes out and has a few beers!! We're a small town - nothing like inner city So'ton which we always be full of ******s. I DO understand the game... 6 weeks of intensive training making you a killing machine and then.. BANG... go and have a Saturday night out ! Someone's gunna have to pick up the pieces Sunday morning
-
thay showed cctv of the attack... all kicked off whilst 'scarfers' like me and my boy walked past. Looked bloody nasty and bc FANS were guilty of being proper nasty. BIG 'sigh'.... hope the coppers have got a grip on our nasty little chavs...

I haven't tagged anyone as an ITK . If you put yourself in that category that's up to you mate. As for the 'I'll deal with you in the morning' line don't make me laugh you ****. That's the sort of line that chavvy dads use with their naughty skinhead kids... i know that's not you by the way... I know you still Haven't found a girl willing to bear your offspring Sweet dreams me old mucka

I know!! Thought I'd post late night and then not log on for a few days. Off to the test match anyway. No harm meant... just telling you how it is here in West Wilts....

Mmmm.. lots of ITK bull ****e as per normal. I live in an 'army' town and I'll tell you a cupla things. 1. I have respect for guys who decide to join the army. 2. The whole town (apart from the off licence) wish they would fuk off and live somewhere else. 3. why is that? Cos most of them come into town every friday and saturday and act like a bunch of fukin morons!! i.e get drunk . . fight the locals.. if no locals fight each other... are sexually aggressive to the women they meet...generally pretty thick... 4. Society requires cannon fodder because a Western capitalist society needs everyone to take their place - that includes everyone from greedy bankers to Privates getting nailed in Afghan. Do they deserve tickets? Fuk no.. they know the job spec when they sign up. Most of em are hoping for a whole lot of playing with a gun and a woman in every port. I've moved to a different town now I have kids as I don't want that influence in their life. I started this by saying I respect the Armed Forces. I really do.. but don't look at this with rose tinted specs....

Mmm .. me too sort of... There's obviously an agenda going on to get shot of the little twits who have recently been causing grief at home and away games (I think they're called the Romsey Massive.. or sometimes Stu's mates--obviously he is NEVER involved in any incidents but unfortunately just happens to witness them all). Anyhow the SA World Cup passed off without incident cos it was too faraway and too expensive for the orrible little chavs who would have caused grief. BTW.. opening local news item last Monday was about how a load of Bristol City fans attacked a coach of Millwall after the game.. well away from the ground - smashing windows - a guy got dragged out and kicked to ****.. those ass holes are still out there and they're just waiting for the opportunity. Ban the ****ers looking for trouble and I'll feel a lot safer taking my boy to games...

Ta. I know this is an unfashionable view but I quite like the idea of actually winning the odd game in this competition... maybe playing a big Premiership club in a couple of rounds time and being a 'giant killer'. I am fully aware that 2 extra games will probably ruin our chances of winning the League, but I quite like going to the odd big game at SMS and maybe winning. Surely we could do a couple of extra games and finish second?
-
Any idea when the draw is for the next round?
-
I've watched Saints for 30 yrs home and away. Yes - away games are about making it a day out but the game and result is always the over riding factor. Please don't pretend that an away game at a pokey little ground in london equals 50k at Wembley. Not sure how long you've watched football - hope you made the most of Wembley because it's quite conceivable you won't get there again as a Saints fan

+1. Was in the Kingsland near chapel corner... 1st kiddie who tried to get on was taken out by a world class rugby tackle. Looked like a last ditch tackle to win England the 6 nations. Bloody awesome! Steward should be very proud

top draw thicko.

Weather update - dry with sunny intervals (met office) Happy days - I can wear my specially commissioned JPT red and white codpiece after all!
-
I heard the same, but as you say a little bit of wind and the rain will soon be sideways..... still, won't dampen my spirits. COYR!!
-
Fair pint but had to get to train for that game. thought quickest route to SMS would be best. Know better for next time
-
Forecast changed from heavy rain to light rain for Sunday. Hopefully by Saturday night will have changed to dry and sunny what with being in row 7.

I walked to the game going through the park at the top of town just as a mob of 'yoof' were being broken up by police horses charging about. If I'd known there was going to be grief there I wouldn't have walked that way. Maybe I'm just not 'itk' enough about yoof tactics. Maybe if you let me know in advance where your mates are gonna be Stu .....
-
What a surprise... Stu in defend the chav mongs post!! There's a difference between banter and physical violence and these boys over stepped the mark; they would all have seen the hand held camcorders that were being used andif they were still stupid enough to get involved then they should take their punishment like a man. If it acts as a deterrent then good! Don't get me wrong - the whole episode was massively over hyped, but is an example of why I didn't bring my son to that game - I really don't want him to witness that type of pathetic behaviour first hand. Also think it's a shame that I have to pick and choose what games I can take him to based on the violent behaviour of these types.

This! PLus one for the future: the mongs who will try to stand at Wembley and block my son from seeing the game - I will not be happy
