  1. I don’t
  2. What then? I’m confused too, are you saying don’t or do be nervous?
  3. Leicester or Brighton?
  4. What is this “smartsrse” language you speak of? Is there really any point in going to the trouble of learning “smartarse” when only a handful of posters communicate by this means?
  5. I like him, certainly since he lost weight, got fitter and showed some desire following his return from the Afcon, but I think he’s a very limited player, nowhere near premier league standard.
  6. I always believed his positional exposure was down to Ralph Ball, he would often have no one in front of him when the two man midfield itself was exposed under counter attack, he also had Elyonoussi in front of him, which was as good as no one. edit. Not that I want him or anyone else back that was here before.
  7. I think he was crucial at key times, Birmingham away and WBA second leg as examples. You have to remember where he has come from, see below. I'd be happy to keep him, I think he was overall good for us, but at the same time I won't be worried if we lose him.. “I was diagnosed with stage-two Hodgkin lymphoma and the prognosis was a positive one. I was told I would be given six months of chemotherapy and would hopefully be OK after that. You have to be prepared that you might not get good news at the end of that period and deal with it as it lies, but I had to have it in my head that it was six months of chemo and then just try to get back playing.” Brooks said he initially found the cancer treatment not as difficult as feared before the reality hit home after the second and third rounds of chemotherapy. “My girlfriend used to come to every chemo and I remember just trying to fall asleep so I wouldn’t be sick,” he said. Of his comeback, he said: “I’d lost every bit of muscle and put on more than 15kg of weight, so I needed to get that off me and put muscle on before I could even think about stepping on a pitch again.”
  8. That’s me top of the list then.
  9. Start a new thread “Sue’s most hated”
  10. My feeling would be more like Sunderland’s, as this is essentially a two storey version of the same stadium. From recollection, Saints, Sunderland, Derby county and Leicester all used Barr Construction and their “flat pack” model. Some in Scotland also.
  11. Apparently it was designed and built to allow for expansion, I always understood it to be a second tier added to one of the main stands.
  12. I thought he was injured most of the season and only started playing towards the end? Either way, I think he is Arsenals plans going forward. I'd love him here though.
  13. Phil Campion Interview with Chris Ryan https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/life-or-death-with-chris-ryan/id1532933911?i=1000509025655
  14. Well he wasn’t keen to fight the good fight when we needed him, so he can do one. We had a team of warriors this season, last season we had a team of powder puffs, plus’s all the dressing room dramas that came with it. I’m with Turkish, no thanks.
  15. I’d say “would” have been in a different place.
  16. Do you know who he is? He’s quite a special man in my view.
  17. I won’t acknowledge our “success” until we have undergone a truth and reconciliation process! In the meantime I shall self flagellate while I deal with my shame for allowing my frustration to get the better of me being and me being bit of a piggy-wig to Russ.
  18. That’s pure poetry man.
  19. Looks like thundery showers on and off now
  20. You jest, but it’s a serious point. For the record I’d prefer to be a yo-yo club than decomposing in the championship.
  21. Yeah, I get you, although I’m not sure your Reform dream will happen this time round, but keep the faith.
  22. I pray politics and social issues are as far removed from football as they can possibly be.
  23. Phhht! If you were a real fan you’d make one, and wooden rattle!
  24. Just watching Man City about to win the title, with the possibility they will retrospectively have it taken from them by sanctions. I do not pretend to understand the ins and outs of ffp, but I get there are a lot of charges to work through, so, why can’t they be charged with say for example, tge ten most serious breeches pending further investigation?
  25. No, because I’m completely uninterested in that, I am, however, I’m in the thrall of the CoT, like a poor urchin gazing longingly through the window of Hamleys and things I can’t have.
