  1. I have not formed an opinion of his ability, but it can't be easy being thrust into the prem , played out of position, then not feature at all. Poor lad must be destroyed.
  2. Im happy to, with Eric Black, Ralph K and Les gone we need another scapegoat. Id never heard of her until this thread, but it all fits now. Patel out!
  3. She would increase the crowd noise, but wouldn't let us switch the floodlights on, and we definitely wouldn't be allowed the pyrotechnics, so on balance I'm not sure.
  4. On one level, no. I haven't enjoyed watching Saints since Koeman left. I could kick myself for buying season tickets this year as its a struggle to make myself go. There appear to be more real clubs with real fans in the Championship which I would enjoy watching more. The issue I have with relegation it could be a cliff edge for us, we are such a poor side and set up in general I don't think we would set the championship alight, we could end up like Pompey. We cannot rely on some knight in shining armour to come and rescue us a second time. I'd prefer it if we were rescued now in some way, and not take the Russian roulette relegation option to make things improve.
  5. Probably the only manager who would instantly improve matters is Sam Allardyce. I don’t have a problem with him but it’s not a long term solution. Ultimately, changing the manager would be a sticking plaster on a gangrenous wound of a club.
  6. In answer to your first question, which you go on to answer in part, the minimum I expect is to play the best players in their best positions, drop out of form players and try to find a way to get along and get the best out of premier league egotist footballers. I'm not a Ralph out man, or anywhere near it, and I haven't really noticed anyone suggesting that he should go. What I see is a general frustration. I'm starting to think he has found himself out of his depth in the premier, but I do think he is capable and will find his feet. I am also concerned that 6 of the 7 points we have could be considered very fortunate. There is also a general air of Saints fatigue and frustration, its been a tough few years since Ronald.
  7. I applaud your loyalty, but it in what way is he brilliant
  8. Ralph's genius will probably see him played at left back.
  9. Not so much the brains, more of a carer, it was his job to make sure Ralph took his medication.
  10. Yeah, but if he's played for us he'd have been a good sort of c*nt, that's how we role!
  11. I recall a story from an Ipswich game where it was said Saints let him go for being too small, he subsequently shot up a foot almost straight after leaving.
  12. He’s been well below par this season, maybe it’s something personal.
  13. Thoughts?
  14. Daft and rude response. We could field a strong team that have played in derbies or and or internationals, Portsmouth is not the only derby. Anyway, getting way off topic.

  16. I’m not sure he can lead the line in the traditional sense, but my thinking is probably outdated, it should do like a commanding enter forward who can bring others into play, but we haven’t had that since my man-crush Grazziano left, and before that Lambert, I think we’ve really missed that. I really hope it works out for Adams, I think it might take him a while.
  17. Pretty unfair assessment, he was put in a bad position by Bednarek giving him a hospital pass, he then, as happened all day on both flanks he was exposed in a two on one. He looked a bit rusty yesterday, and often very isolated, but I’m ok with his selection. Got to say generally, I’m getting early tired of all this rubbishing of “our” players.
  18. Not saying I don’t believe you, but how do you know this?
  19. I don’t think we have the personnel to play that style, we seem to have a predominately mid sized mid paced and mild mannered squad, in short very average. I could see that style working with West Ham or Palace with their bigger, more powerful and quicker players. I’m not really sure what style would suit us.
  20. And I’d have to agree with him
  21. Hope not, his first thought is always forward and he likes to get stuck in, Id like to see him get a run.
  22. Where are you getting these statistics from?
