  1. Always wandered what effect magic mushrooms had, I’m the same after a couple of Henry Westons Vintage cider.
  2. If we win the first five we can start thinking about champions league.
  3. To start with we’d need to win the next two home games, not impossible but I don’t recall the last time we back to back home victories, I barely can recall the last single home victory.
  4. 5 points, beat Watford, draw Norwich and Villa. The others we either never get anything from or have too much power and pace for our powder puffs, ie WHU and Palace.
  5. I get that, but it is almost Hobsons choice, get rid of the owner as a result of relegation but potentially go on huge decline or hang on in there and hope something changes with ownership, Id prefer the latter. I just don't think Saints are enough of a draw for a potential investor once we are in the championship. I know it happened once, but that is possibly never to be repeated.
  6. I’d settle for the temporary turn around if it somehow was enough to keep us up. The alternative is oblivion, I can’t see us recovering from this if we continue.
  7. Strange thing is, we could actually get something at Arsenal, followed by a trouncing by Watford.
  8. Why? I’d have him, great bloke
  9. Could be, but it could be anything, physical illness, mental struggles, family not settling, homesickness, isolation (see all previous) - some of which self imposed, sense of failure, the global spotlight of the EPL, realising he is hopelessly out of his depth, but its all speculation.
  10. If we (Ralph) hadn’t royally stuffed up Bournemouth and Everton at home then supporter emotions would be in a very different place.
  11. That was always the uber control freaks' plan, his vay or the autobahn!
  12. Can’t believe he’s suddenly deemed to be no good having raised no negative attention previously. I did hear he had issues with manager, so maybe he has gone the same way as everyone else who wouldn’t get on the bus?
  13. Think the "plan" was to get some quick easy cash.
  14. I’m a bit lost with the hierarchy at Saints, who actually makes the big decisions?
  15. That’s the same lie I tell myself, but in reality, denial is the first stage of grief. It hurts quite a lot.
  16. It would have to be an old dog of war, like Sam. If someone could just put the best players in their correct positions and get everyone putting in the same shift as Danny Ings we would have to improve wouldn’t we? I would rather see an u23 putting in a shift than JWP avoiding play for 90 minutes.
  17. The kindest thing you can say fit Ralph is massively out of his depth in the pl. I think he has lost it completely
  18. No, but it would hurt his pride and is generally a terrible look. Not that I advocate not attending as I think it will make things worse.
  19. Was thinking the same, strangely things are much worse now than they were then, and we don't seem to be motivated to do anything.
  20. Only bit I disagree with is "flirting with the relegation zone", we started flirting 3 years ago, she, the relegation zone, wants more, she has had enough of our empty promises, and is now 8 months pregnant and has told the wife.
  21. It probably would make them better, either way it has more chance of improving things than getting on their backs, that has never worked. They end up paralysed be fear.
  22. And subsequently regressed.
  23. In a nutshell, that's all we can do, anything else will have a negative effect, fingers crossed the rest of the debacle sorts itself out.
  24. Sort of agree, because getting behind one “thing” is divisive, which is along the lines of what I was trying to say above. But.... I do not seeing myself getting behind Gao under any foreseeable circumstance, and unfortunately he is a major part of our club.
