  1. Sounds like a great day out at the soccer ball, go team!
  2. I for one will have to stop, now it seams in this crazy PC world your not even allowed to "unwind" at the traffic lights anymore!
  3. Agreed its not a good squad, but you are effectively acknowledging Ralph has cost us 6 or 7 points, which is massive for us. At best he is hopelessly out of his depth. I thought he was learning from his mistakes, but now I'm not sure. I'm sitting on the fence as to whether he should stay or go, partly as I have become apathetic, and in part because i don't expect anything much to change after the dead cat bounce of changing manager.
  4. He kept it to 1-0 with two or three excellent saves, to me he’s the least of our problems
  5. Have you see any Europa league games? He has been at that level every time. Maybe it’s less pressure for him up there, apparently his mental state was not good at Saints. I don’t think he would favour a return.
  6. It was nearly deja vu from when Peter Crouch did something similar against Villa in the relegation season, that ultimately cost us very dearly. We got away with it last night
  7. I thought he looked much sharper and hungrier than previously, I know we got away with it but had we gone on the offensive rather than the panicky defensive substitutions I felt it was his chance to break the scoring duck.
  8. He looks off the pace, unfit and slow, it could be a confidence issue, could be fitness, could be a number of things, but I thought he was our weakest link last night and should have been hooked for Boufal, we may have scored again rather than hanging on grimly.
  9. It probably doesn’t happen to tap players, but we are thin on the ground when I comes to top players, I can’t see Liverpool sniffing round any of our current squad. The thing is most of our team are equally if not more hapless than Jack, but when you are the last defender the consequences are often dire.
  10. Which is why he should be getting game time.
  11. Im not suggesting he’s great, but he hasn’t had a massive amount of pl experience, CBS normally mature later, yes I’d rather have Gary Cahill, but saints don’t do things like that. I’ve no problem digging players out who aren’t trying, but he always does put a shift in.
  12. He selected the ridiculous line up in the first place, literally no midfield, looked like a four two four in old money. I still think the blokes a nutter.

    Obafemi

I cannot see anything in him, I see him ending up league one, and not shining there.
  14. Just lay off him. As CB’s go he’s still young and inexperienced, he did his bit to bring about our little revival with his effort against Everton, shaming the others for hiding. Last night was a nightmare for the CB’s , there was no out ball, the midfield wasn’t there, partly due to the weird team selection overloaded with forwards and Cedric was well off the pace. He’s not brilliant but saint for me.
  15. Medic!
  16. I just can’t keep up with what is and isn’t ok in this pc times.
  17. Always wandered what effect magic mushrooms had, I’m the same after a couple of Henry Westons Vintage cider.
  18. If we win the first five we can start thinking about champions league.
  19. To start with we’d need to win the next two home games, not impossible but I don’t recall the last time we back to back home victories, I barely can recall the last single home victory.
  20. 5 points, beat Watford, draw Norwich and Villa. The others we either never get anything from or have too much power and pace for our powder puffs, ie WHU and Palace.
  21. I get that, but it is almost Hobsons choice, get rid of the owner as a result of relegation but potentially go on huge decline or hang on in there and hope something changes with ownership, Id prefer the latter. I just don't think Saints are enough of a draw for a potential investor once we are in the championship. I know it happened once, but that is possibly never to be repeated.
  22. I’d settle for the temporary turn around if it somehow was enough to keep us up. The alternative is oblivion, I can’t see us recovering from this if we continue.
  23. Strange thing is, we could actually get something at Arsenal, followed by a trouncing by Watford.
  24. Why? I’d have him, great bloke
  25. Could be, but it could be anything, physical illness, mental struggles, family not settling, homesickness, isolation (see all previous) - some of which self imposed, sense of failure, the global spotlight of the EPL, realising he is hopelessly out of his depth, but its all speculation.
