  1. Sounds like Redmond
  2. I'd say he's finished, happy to be proved wrong, don't think I will be.
  3. If anyone cannot see the blatant social engineering pervading every aspect of our lives then they could more accurately be described as a mug, or worse.
  4. Absolutely, in my simple football brain I like to see a player who’s first thought is to move or carry the ball forward, that’s what Armstrong has bought to us. From the YouTube clip it seems RLC has the same philosophy. I’m not entirely sure what Redders brings, but his game should benefit massively once he knows he’s not an automatic selection.
  5. Its like a bigger hand with shorter fingers but at the end of your leg instead of your arm, trust this clears things up a bit?
  6. Going to football is one of the few things that get me though winter. If you'd asked me a couple of weeks ago I wouldn't have been too worried, now Id love to go for a few pints, bit of lunch and off to the game.
  7. There maybe some "badly run clubs" out there, but in these circumstances ,completely losing your income is beyond anyone's control. Talking of pissing your money up the wall, there for the grace of God (Marcus) go us., we could easily have ended up in the situation. I do believe the whole of football top down should be forced to be sustainable based on sustainability.

  9. Just like furlough and the emergency loans. On the one hand I feel more money should trickle down but on the other it would probably just lead to hyper inflation in those leagues, unless there were strict rules on salary caps, transfer budgets etc. Longer term there must be a better way, but right now I don’t want to see a single club fold, even Pompey. The thing to remember is the PL does still have a strong revenue stream, the lower leagues have almost nothing.
  10. Or a good warm and stable spring followed by a warm summer with greater opportunity pollination with less wind and rain damage to blossoms. I had a bumper year of cooking apples, that's a sign, I sign of many apple crumbles to come.
  11. Simms, Maradonna and Messi In the same sentence, cor blimey!
  12. Back to the original question, still Adams by a long long way.
  13. Was Hoijburg ( don’t know how to spell it) more influential than we gave him credit for?
  14. 4 shots 1 on target
  15. Count yourself lucky
  16. The Djenepo has contracted Redmond 19 virus
  17. Feels like a matter of time before the dam bursts
  18. It doesn’t, the nervous energy overrides the alcohol. I’ll make up for it after the match.
  19. Got a knot in my stomach, this is ruining my Saturday night!
  20. Clucking Bell!!
  21. Djenepo making poor runs and looks off the pace so far
  22. Burnley play so ugly but still look dangerous
  23. @BenjiPotentially, its an option they could table, along with full refund, or the drip feed refund currently in place. Its not like I'd be losing a lot of interest on it. The point I'm trying to make is that the landscape has changed massively since we coughed up, therefore the restitution plan needs to change accordingly. One thing I can say I'd prefer not to be bummed at all, regardless of the intensity of said bumming😉
