  1. That’s what I thought which is why I’m not bothering with the exchange. At least I’ll still have my ticket if we get a new manager in for then.
  2. lol, you said professional
  3. Why, that tweet by Alfie really doesn’t say that much. Maybe there is a meeting today, they probably wouldn’t hold it a St Mary’s given the attention it would attract. Maybe that was the meeting held before Chelsea? It doesn’t matter if he goes today or next week, as long as he goes and the new man has time to assess his resources and be involved in the January window. That’s not to say sooner wouldn’t be better.
  4. Rusty in his speedos giving birthday cuddles
  5. That passes the bar for my burden of proof threshold, so if it’s all the same to you I will take it as fact.
  6. Possibly, that’s what I’m interested in.
  7. What gives rise you your “belief” I’d be really interested to know. I’m not calling you out, just noting you rarely post and have chosen this time to make a statement?
  8. Because we, in the main, are desperate for it to be true and will latch on to anything that gives us hope,
  9. Russel was rather hoping we’d sing songs of praise to him. He has noted a few suggestions:- hark the herald Russell speaks once in royal Russell’s city while Russell grooms his beard at night ding dong pass it round the back oh come ye love Russball, joyful and triumphant (in terms of possession, the real triumph) And many more
  10. Whitey wants Europe, I’m with Whitey!

  12. I’m starting to despise the little rat
  13. All of those things can be true. Whether he wants to be here or wants a pay off is not relevant, either way he will be extremely wealthy man, especially considering his complete ineptitude.
  14. To para-paraphrase “I didn’t actually have any ideas in the first place but thanks to you suckers I’ll never have to work again”
  15. The injustice is, if he chooses, he would never have to lift a finger again having been rewarded so handsomely for his unprecedented failure.
  16. The good player relations and his popularity within the club hierarchy may be true, but where was coming from, in my experience, being nice and being popular will not prevent you losing your job when you are abjectly failing in your primary role. This, one would reasonably assume to be, to amass enough points to remain in the premier league, or at least give it a really good go.
  17. Why would they like his work?
  18. They’ll probably rest half their first team as had become the recent trend. That’s how the inconsequential we are now. Clubs will be playing their under 23’s against us soon.
  19. Because, as several posters have suggested, he is a classic narcissist. It’s a very common trait, they cannot accept responsibility for something going wrong, it has to be the fault of others.
  20. Today should have been an opportunity to get something. Villa out of form, distracted by an upcoming European game and having made several changes. And yet, we came away with absolutely nothing, not even a shot on goal.
  21. I’m not sure what Armstrong did to get a gig in the premier league, he’s a long way below the standard required
  22. Yes
  23. I think the first part might be true whether they are intending to hang around once they have sold the family silver is another matter.
  24. He's only allowed out 3 days a month, under strict supervision.
  25. Perspective is indeed very important. See below for my perspective
