  1. That’s dynamite!
  2. I thought that, then I thought Rangers played with 10x the aggression and intensity we do, so it’s probably irrelevant. (nb. Rangers playing in a manner which teams like us should be)
  3. Spurs look as hopeless as us tonight
  4. Maybe not the world, but 30,000 or so
  5. And Staplewood
  6. Probably met Rasmus and immediately recoiled, ran out of the stadium and wheel spun all the way up the M3
  7. If Ange doesn't achieve another thing in football it matters not, there is nowhere else to go, no higher attainment can be achieved, he has received praise from the future of football himself, Russell Martin.
  8. That’s a very insightful article
  9. How long have you been a Saints fan SoG? You must know we are the breakers of winless streaks and goal droughts!
  10. Ding dong pass it round the back That's why we keep conceding Russ will never get the sack The arsehole's never leaving boor oor oor oor oor oor ring crap In St Marys stadium(o),
  11. Spurs have had an iffy run, but they have the weaponry to destroy us. Perhaps that's what it needs to force the board make the required change?
  12. The stars aligned for him last season, that will never happen again.
  13. Its quite possible he is. He is a very prominent football anchor and its entirely believable he gets fed information from senior sources..
  14. So do I, at least die trying...
  15. For me it’s quite a simple equation, the risk of changing manager versus the absolute certainty of relegation if we don’t.
  16. There is a huge assumption we will storm the championship. What if it doesn’t pan out that way, what if we don’t dominate Pompey. What if the squad gets ripped apart. What if Russell stays but this time every team has worked out how to nullify us? To me the risk is too great. We should at the very least give it everything to attempt to stay up. New manager, couple of good January signings…. Anything is possible until it’s not.
  17. Agreed, you can’t have him sulking and stinking out the place. He’s far to conceited to accept advice with good grace.
  18. I didn't bother posting this before, it seemed a bit petty, but now I think, so what! I was sitting directly behind the coaches and subs at the Everton game. Martin jumped up to remonstrate with the fourth official at something he didn't like. However, between "jumping up", and "dashing over" to the fourth official, he actually took a time-out to coiffure his hair with both hands, presumably in preparation for the cameras panning to him. He really is a vain chap, not someone I can relate to at all.
  19. Ralph was very bad for this as well as we witnessed during the lockdown games, hearing his minute by minute instructions. Letting the players play and adapt and react to what is actually happening is another aspect of modern football (see also life in general), that is sucking the joy out of the spectacle.
  20. The actual context was lack of suitable English managers for the England job!
  21. What surprised me more with this one is that it was Howe who bought him into the conversation. He wasn’t directly lead into it by Jordan.
  22. Eddie How on the up front podcast with Simon Jordan “Russel Martin has a great future” what am I missing?
  23. How was that not a penalty? It’s totally shit when you are down the bottom
  24. That’s what I thought which is why I’m not bothering with the exchange. At least I’ll still have my ticket if we get a new manager in for then.
  25. lol, you said professional
