  1. He’s harmless and doesn’t have bad intentions, from what I’ve observed. He can be irritating but that’s easily managed by exercising the choice not to engage. Some of the pile ons have been very unsavoury over the years. I can think of a few more obnoxious characters on here.
  2. Saintsloyal out, embittered hate filled little hobgoblin.
  3. It’s an astute summary of a man with undoubted narcissistic personality disorder who is at least in part responsible for the situation we find ourselves in. You do now narcissists do not take responsibility for their destructive behaviours?
  4. If he achieves anything close to that sort of upturn In form he would legitimately bring himself into consideration.
  5. How the tables have turned. I saw this on a group chat last night. Unai Emery was appointed in November 2022 as Villa manager. Very close to that date Nathan Jones was appointed for Saints. There was only three points between Saints and Villa in the table. Tonight one of those teams is in Champions League quarter final. What a shocking indictment of our ownership.
  6. To be fair, from the outside, what is there to like? All of the attributes that held is in good favour wit neutrals have long since evaporated.
  7. Get a life
  8. Excellent listen. Blackmore on top form.
  9. 10. He continues to be a stain on the pants of Southampton Football Club.

    Ivan Juric

It always was only about him, classic narcissist.
  12. My stream is 7 minutes ahead of the actual game, Archer has just completed the perfect hatrick
  13. We didn’t convince either, and a number of that squad will not be here next season.
  14. It’s not over, you doomsayers. All we have to do is win all our remaining games and the three above us lose all of theirs and we’re home and hosed. Come on chaps, let’s have some glass half full!
  15. I’d like to see a performance similar to Palace, but I’m not too hopeful if it’s a midfield of Smallbone and Aribo.

    Ivan Juric

I like him more than any manager we’ve had in a very long time. I don’t have an issue if he stays. Spors seems to rate him, give him the players he needs and a full pre season he could do the job.
  17. Bednarek was brilliant and Stephens was fine. If there was any inevitability in the equaliser it was because palace are a very dangerous attacking team and we have less than zero belief we can win a game.
  18. And / or he’s just massively overrated?
  19. Injured apparently, coincided with his bestie Russ getting shit canned
  20. Relegation is good business.

    Ivan Juric

I feel none of this nostalgia for Ralph, he was another one trick pony that failed to adapt once everyone had learned to nullify his style. It's where we went after that that's the problem. Incidentally, in the very interesting Spors article in the DE he seems to have a fair bit of admiration for Ivan From the Daily Echo; I know Ivan Juric for a very long time. Not that we worked together or had a relationship before we met here. He worked in Italy and I was in Italy. I was always very impressed by the achievements that he had. He really stabilised difficult environments, especially defensively. He made sure that his clubs not only stabilised but also grew again. It’s not a secret and he is the first one to say this to you when you interview him… He is not satisfied that this development is not visible here yet. I’m here to observe this, of course. I’m here to help him wherever I can. That’s the situation where we are at the moment. The manager at the moment is Ivan and will be Ivan. There is no other decision taken.
  22. https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/25041185.every-word-southamptons-technical-director-spors-said-lengthy-talk/ He comes across very well in this interview, it has given me some confidence those at the top have recognised the issues and have a plan in place and are now getting the right people in place to implement the plan.
  23. Thanks for that Nick, just listened today. It was really enjoyable. It made me nostalgic for previous Saints teams, who may have had their limitations but didn't lack the fight of the pathetic squads we've had over the last few seasons.
  24. Or yellow with a white feather motif.
