Yup, a striker and a gk are all we need and we dont seem to have any young players of real quality coming through in these positions, so its not like we are stopping the progression of anyone. I know its tough to find, but a decent striker who could provide goals is a must, but not just as a different option to Pelle but also to put pressure on Pelle. The place is easily his at the mo, we need some competition in his place.

Wanted to write this on a week where we won as to not sound like a winging little sh*t, but the standard of refs this year has been a disgrace and not just in our games. Today our ref was dreadful, the gabby red card in the man u game was a disgrace and this goes on time and time again, week after week this year. I know refs have always had it tough, and usually im first to defend them as they only get to see the incident once, but this year has been particularly bad. hopefully it will pick up soon.

I really thought we would loose this, weakened teamand Everton have been looking better lately. Makes the Villa/Burnley results lately look a lot worse. Mane will have to really try to get his place back, good to see JWP taking corners as he is much better than Tadic, Davis was good too. Last few games ive watch Tadic take pens and they have been woeful at best. Great to see JWP putting the balls into the box. Tadic is the better player but JWP is far better at set pieces, can bring 5-10 goals a season easy. Much like Eriksen at spurs, i dont rate him but his set pieces are strong.

I would never want a rapist or any player who had committed a sexual assult playing for saints. It is a tough one , becuse I though I do believe in serving time and second chances the sentence he served was an insult and he is in the public eye. Usually rapists , once released, will go get a job somewhere and the victim need never know of them again or to hear from them again... in this case, he is constantly in the media. Hopefully the only good to come out of this whole thing is that a lot of young lads see how it can mess up a footballing career and treat women with a lot more respect.
