Was sat in the West Brom end and have to say the travelling Saints fans sounded excellent, great atmosphere. I read on here a lot about people commenting on others fans being excellent (i.e Celtic fans) but the fans were amazing today. Game was not the best but a solid start. For me Wanyama and Lovren were our best two. Chambers had a good solid start and will be a fine understudy to Clyne this season. Great save by Boruc at the end too. Went with two baggies fans and they were disappointed but not too surprised, said they need wingers/creative players. Boruc - 7 Chambers - 7 Lovren -8 Fonte -7 Shaw -8 Morgan -7 Wanyama -9 JWP - 8 Rodriquez - 8 Lallana - 8 SRL - 7 Over all a good team performance and good debuts for the 3 new players. (Oh yeah, and met Rickie at the end quick, shook his hand and got a photo, made my day!).

Agreed, stupid post. Unless he has only been following Saints since Aug 2012.

Lugano may not start but all their defence is slow, I sit next to a WBA season ticket holder and he thinks Olson may be one of the slowest players in the league, if not the slowest.

And would you of done differently? If say in your choosen profession they offer you a 5 year contract on 'x' amount each month you would turn it down if the company were doing not so well?
-
Getting the call up the other day meant a lot to both Rickie and to Saints fans and also the fans of his clubs in the past.

C. They don't care and have better things to do with their time than reply to you. My guess... C.

As it stands, do we have a better midfield than Utd?
sentry replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
Maybe central, but Man U also have Kagawa, Nani, Valencia, Young, Zaha, etc. I dont rate all those players but its true their central mid is weak. -
If its any help I watch between 3 and 5 championship games every year, and watch MOTD most Saturdays unless its late and Im tried. Put me down in the list for England expert.

Here we go! First Team line up against West Brom thread
sentry replied to Horton Heath Saint's topic in The Saints
They have Rosenburg as back up striker... used a bit like Mayuka actually, not many starts and comes on. Good history though, might see more of him this year now lukaku has gone. Their defence and keeper are imo better than ours at the mo. Very solid team all over. Plus they are pretty solid at home. -
Saints near the bottom for players signed, any cause to panic?
sentry replied to Mr X's topic in The Saints
Man U, Arsenal and Newcastle at the bottom. THink I will put a tenner on these teams going down, bet odds arnt great though as SkyBet will know they have not made many signings. -
The same West Brom who finished 8th last year?

I agree that I would much rather Seager get match time than Forte/Bernard etc when they will be leaving the club and Ryan is (hhopefully) on the way up. But I spose the club does have a responsibility to the players to play them and keep them match fit. People seem to have very short term memories. Bernard did a good job a few years back when used and think he went on a really good run at the end of the league one season , something like 13 goals in the later stages of the season. Lee seems to be a good player and just needs to join a club at the right level/league and Im sure he will go on to do well. De Ridder does seem to of lost his way a bit, maybe a move back to the continent would be best, but Im guessing he is on quite a bit otherwise this would of happened already.

FourFourTwo Season Predictions - (Premier League - League Two)
sentry replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
I dont quite get how predictions can be done yet. If spurs loose Bale, Arsenal bring in a top striker etc it can all change. -
I think it was a while ago, would be interesting to know, but this year I think all three coming up are the weakest in the last few years overall.

Why is Van Wolfswinkel an amazing signing, yet Quagliarella an unknown? But yes I agree with comeoyoureds, we are domed. DOMED!

Love Jenni Lee. I have her email address too and she is lovely. My fav pornstar ever..... but she has just retired.

Is he trying to become the next Leon Knight? 'With girls You have a choice out of 2 nowa days.. Either have a gold digger or a slag.. Take a pick'

Stevederidder? In other news, WHU are about to open talks with Rickie Lambert according to the Daily Star.

Im planning on going to Singapore hopefully later this year, but if not deff next. My best mate lives there. no way, if anything people like you and me are better Saints fans as we choose to support Saints, they are not just thrust upon us at an early age!
-
Celtic fans must be p*^£%ed at the mo. Wanyama and now their top scorer for 5+ mil.
-
This may have been covered before but who out there supports Saints yet are not from Southampton or the surrounding area, and why? Im from Kent, went to Southampton for a weekend when I was maybe 12 (up to then kinda supported Forest but not really) to visit my Great Uncle. I remember he was watching the classifieds come in and was waiting for Saints. I cant quite remember making a conscience decision but from then on I supported Saints. Never been back to Southampton since (watched Saints about 8 times in the midlands though when ever they play up here and I can make it). Plan to visit the city and St. Marys next year.
