My greatest hope when this does finally all go through is that we can rebuild ourselves not only as a team but as a fanbase as well. We have become so jaded, pessimistic and mistrustful over the last few years that it is becoming destructive. Oh to finally only be talking about football and potential signings that the endless backroom stuff. When I was a kid supporting the team I couldn't even have told you who the chairman was.

a few weeks ago we had no buyer and couldn't even afford to pay the wages. I suppose as far as they were concerned the situation may well have never become an issue

Why are we panicking? Well because we are Saints fans thats why - pretty much every team in the world would be ecstatic with 3-0 up at half time, having followed Saints all my life I know that that can turn into 3-4 all too often.
