  1. Normal service, etc, etc then.
  2. Not worth the pittance.
  3. £2k no problem as long as this could be done properly alongside many others. If 9,999 others joined me I reckon we could be on the way to getting this football club back from the corrupt money men that have screwed us for years. It's not about what we can make for ourselves out of Saints, it's what we can do for the club (to paraphrase some pas USA Pres figure). Just as long as there isn't some power hungry Rupe type waiting there in the wings to **** us yet again.
  4. Come on now, we all really know how this one will go. Miss a sitter after a couple of minutes and then stroll around in the sun for the rest of the half. After an hour or so and a couple of mi**** shots later some strange substitutions will take place and we'll have a flurry of corners. In the last minute Charlton break away and the ball ends up in Saints net. 0-1 written all over it.
  5. Nope. Not just you. I'm starting to find that football is actually ****ing me off these days. Crap entertainment, over-priced, over-hyped, over-exposed, etc, etc. Yeah, I go to plenty of games and keep an eye on the score when I'm not there but the tension in the pit of the stomach has gone. I expect us to go down but, in truth, I'm not sure I really care. Not really felt like this in 45 years of supporting Saints. Except maybe when I discovered the alternative entertainment involved in s e x but even that's .... maybe too much information.
  6. The moron element seems to be growing in size. To be fair though, it probably reflects the make-up of the British population these days.
  7. Saavamptin, mate. Oh you know the place? Woolston actually.
  8. I'll be heading off down the A34 shortly and I'm feeling positive, even slightly optimistic of a win by at least 2 goals. I really don't want another of those depressing journeys back from the game thank you.
  9. And I thought this thread was going to be a discussion about the Dark Side of the Moon.
  10. When I've seen him it rather reminded me of a young Channon. Mind you, I am getting on a bit now.
  11. Earlier in the season it looked to me that we had the squad to do ok and now it would appear that we've stumbled out of the mad youth experiment that almost brought the club to its knees to prove that point somewhat. Must admit I was sceptical about Wotte given his part of Lowe's brave new world but it looks like he's showing that he's his own man and has what it takes to fire up these players. I look at the table and can't believe that we're still in the bottom 3 after these wins. I guess that gives an indication of the goo that was about to swallow us. Still lots to do yet though but this is much more like it.
  12. Well, it looks like it's happened again. I think I'll have a play with my vacuum cleaner while the the same old argument continues.
  13. What gets me is that should a miracle happen and Saints actually start winning some home games the likes of 19****een will be claiming a massive victory for their lord and master's strategy. Of course it's possible that relegation could be avoided and that is surely what is hoped for, but it does not alter the fact that yet again Lowe brings us 3 managers in a year and a relegation struggle. Nothing changes with the divisive incompetent hated one. I just ask you to see that the bloke is far short of being some sort of a messiah.
  14. Results haven't been updated for a while by the look of it and I've got some points to claim.
  15. Can't really see the point in worrying about other teams' results too much. If Saints continue losing/drawing then it's curtains. A few wins will give us a chance. Simple as that really.
  16. Rudi != leftBack;
  17. What's all this left back talk though? That has only recently become a bit of a makeshift position 'cos we had nobody else so I reckon it's worth trying him further forward, where IMHO he might offer us more.
  18. I've decide to (mostly) not bother too much about what other teams are doing until our lot start improving. If Saints can't claim 3 points in anything other than the odd game here and there it doesn't really matter too much how those above us are getting on. Basically I think that means I've just lost all hope.
  19. Lowe to retire to the library with a pearl handled revolver and a bottle of whisky where he would be expected to do the decent thing.
  20. We're fast running out of games, the gates are dwindling while the divisive one with his mad experiment are still in place. If anyone is expecting our fortunes to change in time for us to keep our place in the CCC with this continuing then I reckon they must be living in the clouds. The trouble is I find that I really don't seem to care anymore after 45 years watching Saints.
  21. Given that Lowe's PR merchants are on here predicting violence and advising us not to take our families along has anyone considered whether there might be a plan to infiltrate the march with some pro-Lowe nutters that would be only too happy to help cause a bit of trouble? Even by simply raising the threat of violence perhaps they hope that numbers might be reduced so that Lowe can dismiss the protest more easily. For what it's worth I'm unable to make it down to Southampton today but I'll be with those on the march in sentiment. It's good to see that there are some that will do what they can to save SFC from these clowns.
  22. I could've but have been snowed under with work instead. Then I went to the pub for a couple of pints although I could have started reading this earlier of course. Cheers!
  23. I've just read through this thread of ifs, buts and maybes. Trouble is it really has driven me mad with all the "could of", "would of", "should of" and similar phrases. I don't know whether it's something to do with modern day education but it really distracts from the point being made as far as I'm concerned. Would it be at all possible to revert to the English of "could have", "would have", "should have", etc? Or even abbreviated to "could've" and so on if you really fancy it. I might just be able to concentrate on the various Lowe, Wilde and Crouch prejudices then. Cheers!
  24. Presumably Talksport rang him to ask about the situation at SFC. Now let's think what the "right" answer might be. a) Let's have even more division until we get rid of the devil incarnate b) Pull together, good of the club, etc, etc If he ever wanted to step inside St Mary's under the current regime I reckon answer b) would be the logical and politic answer regardless of what he really thinks. Either that or he's been got at.
