  1. Oh good. My stream has died.
  2. The lack of pace when Saints attack is not helping.
  3. Newcastle managing to look even worse than Saints. They're so bad that you just know they're going to sneak a late 0-1 win.
  4. Missed the game due to other priorities. Sounds like missed chances again. This is a reoccurring problem for Saints. Do we have any decent coaches that know how to find the back of the net?
  5. Just like watching Saints. 3-0 up at half time and you know that isn't going to be a comfortable lead. (Actually, 3-0 up at half time isn't much like Saints these days)
  6. I suspect Benitez will be eyeing their game on 27th October as a likely chance to gather momentum.
  7. It's worth remembering that the win against Bournemouth was far from comfortable. Only top class saves and woeful scoring attempts towards the end got us the 3 points. I'm beginning to think that St Mary's is jinxed. It's certainly far too comfortable a place for visiting teams to come.
  8. Slightly better 2nd half I suppose but opposition teams and supporters seem to like coming to St Mary's. Are there three worse teams than Saints this season?
  9. Slightly better 2nd half I suppose but opposition teams and supporters seem to like coming to St Mary's. Are there three worse teams than Saints this season?
  10. If this one-sided game is an indication of where the Premiership is heading then I might become somewhat relaxed if Saints found themselves one of the three worst this season.
  11. We'd be better off playing the long ball out from defence and give up trying to pass through the Chelsea press. Expect Bertrand to pick up another yellow now too. The ref was never going to change his mind on the free kick so why the strop?
  12. Gifting the ball to them. Goal.
  13. At least we're getting plenty of practice defending corners.
  14. 1-5 at Fulham then. What chance a similar score at St Mary's?
  15. Strangely relaxed ahead of this game. Defeat to at least a couple of Giroud goals is almost a foregone conclusion so why worry?
  16. Playing at St Mary's hasn't felt like any sort of home advantage for quite some time now. Might be best to think of this one like an away cup fixture.
  17. I think I like that red and black kit.
  18. Well at least we managed to keep a clean sheet for 45 minutes. Saints can really only look to grind out the points towards safety for the rest of the season against the other also-ran teams. The EPL is now almost as boring as virtually every other top league in the world.
  19. Saints happy to protect a 3-0 defeat.
  20. Liverpool have hardly had to try very hard and they're 3-0 up at half time. You'd have thought that they'd have learnt by now not to give the ref a chance to award a soft free kick. If Saints had a decent defence we might stand a chance but at this rate will be well adrift by Christmas.
  21. Saints defence is really slow. Any decent pace skins them.
  22. Said last week our defence was too easy to score against. Shambles.
  23. Just watched a recording of the game didn't know the result but predicted it, especially the late equaliser. Saints looked horribly disjointed, slow and with little idea in the final third. Defence is going to be totally found out this season. Another relegation scrap I fear.
  24. On balance of play Saints probably deserve to be ahead. All a bit rushed in the final third though. Austin to come on and score in the last minute.
  25. Oh yeah. Forgot about that. St Mary's will continue to be visitor friendly then.
