If Ramirez comes back and stays fit, and we get some decent defenders in jan then yes. We have actually had worse starts than this to a prem season, I.e on points gained, not obviously on goals conceded

I can't see him being sacked though if Cortese is having a say, as no other decent manager would let that happen

If you are saying what I think you are saying I.e Cortese and Reed have a say in team selections/formations who on earth would want to work under that? If he is sacked we won't get anyone better than Adkins to come in

I know this was a long time ago but in 98/99 we had 2 points after 9 games and minus 18 goal difference. By game 18 we had 13 points. Some people just seem to forget this is how it was nearly every season. If we get to January not too far away from safety and get some decent defenders in at the start of Jan I reckon we will be fine
