My thoughts exactly. It would be ok if shaw was just missing for the first couple of games but anything more than that, no. We have a great chance to start the season well, lets not blow it

Will be a good player for us this season. We have so many options in midfield now. Think we will actually be ok up front until January at least. Really think we need another addition in defence.

Need another left back, possibly on loan until January. Despite Fox apparently being ok back up he is not good enough for a prolonged run in the side

Just seen on twitter (yes I know) that shaw has knee ligament issues. Just what we need! Wonder if we will get another left back in, or stick with fox and targett?

And I'm guessing Matt targett isn't quite ready yet. Shame, really don't rate fox at all, can you tell?!

Problem is if shaw is out for a few weeks, I would not be comfortable with fox playing that many games. He's ok for the odd game here and there but not for a prolonged period. He is constantly out of position and the rest of the defence have to compensate for him. All in my opinion of course and I would love for him to prove me wrong

Unfortunately will be a few weeks before we can play this if Shaw's injury looks as bad as the way he hobbled off. Apart from that we looked promising today. Think again best form of defence will be attack

Why o why do we not have a decent back up for shaw. Knew this would happen today. Despite what some say fox is not a decent back up, he brings down the performance of the whole of the defence who have to cover for him
