I will be there too. Looking forward to it

Urgh. It's still a good chance to progress though. Although can't see us taking many at all up there

We won't be selling anymore tickets if the ticket office system doesn't get back up and running - it's just crashed. Good old ticket office!

Flat management company removing Sky dishes - advice needed please
Georgie replied to Georgie's topic in The Lounge
Cheers for advice guys. Think I will try get all the signatures of the people that want the communal dish. That's better than me ranting and raving at the management company! They are an absolute pain though, never buying a flat again! -

Possibly, but it was written years ago so it probably applies to all TV devices. It is just the lack of common sense to see that the majority would want a communal dish because there are 15 already up there. I also don't see how a non-vote counts as 'no' -

I'm not talking about the lease, I already said there is nothing we can do about that. I'm talking about the way they have gone about the voting for the communal dish and whether there is anything I can go back to them with to try and reverse their decision not to put it up. -
Hi guys, Our flat management company are removing all of the Sky dishes at our block of flats (15 dishes out of 24 flats) as it against the terms of our lease, which was written in the dark ages, to have 'TV aerials' on the outside of the building. Not a lot we can do about that as it is in the lease, although quite why they have decided to pick up on this now after the dishes have been up for years, I have no idea. Anyway they suggested a communal dish could be put up but only if the marjority wanted it. They conducted a postal vote and stated that any non-replies would count as 'no'. So suprise suprise there were apparently 15 no/non-replies (so 15 non-replies) against 9 yes votes. Result - no communal dish and all Sky dishes to be taken down. We do not have the opportunity to get Virgin Media as it is not currently available in our block. So this leaves us with BT Vision or Talk Talk, which do not offer all the channels that Sky do. What I would like advice on is if there is anything I can say/do to try and get them to rectify this, as it is plainly obvious that the majority would want the communal dish (15 out of 24 flats have dishes) but looks like they did not read the voting letter properly so didn't bother to reply. Or is it not worth complaining as their decision is final? Also is it right that non-replies can count as a no vote? Another thing I don't understand is why they needed to consult with us on this, why not just get on with it and put the communal dish up? My guess is because the money to pay for it was going to come out of their precious reserve fund. They seem to have no problem not consutling with us on anything else, like getting us to pay £400 to remove a birds nest!! Thanks in advance

Oh and to make things even better the mighty Pompey lose at home to Fleetwood lol

Woohoo! What a fantastic result. Never in doubt haha. However will mean absolutely nothing if we don't follow up with a win against Palace next week. But for now I'm going to enjoy this result very much
-
If its going to be a draw I would prefer some goals and a score draw, although obviously a point away to Liverpool would be very good. I actually think we will play well and win. Some will then start talking of Europe again, only to come crashing back down to earth next week when we don't beat Palace.

With regards to Morgan's tackle (I haven't seen a replay of it), is there a chance that retrospective action could be taken on it?
-
Once again a team came to St Mary's for a point and got it. Still early days but lack of goals is worrying. However on another day those chances go in and we win 4-0. Very frustrating start to the season. We look very solid bit just can't seem to find the net. We created more chances today which is encouraging, but we must put them away. Personally I would like to see Cork involved again, too many stray passes and slowing down of our attacks with Wanyama today. Can't see us getting anything at Liverpool next week, but if we can't beat Palace in two weeks time I will be extremely worried.

Rated at £12 million? If they offered that we all know what Cortese would do with that. The problem will obviously only arise if/when Shaw wants to leave. Hoepfully that won't be for another couple of years at least.
-
Probably why it hasn't been done as it will cause problems/arguments from existing season ticket holders. There must be something that can be done though for league games that will struggle to sell out. Didn't we offer cheaper tickets for a couple of games while we were in League 1/Championship the first time? Can't remember how that was set up or if it was offered to existing season ticket holders to buy extra tickets at discounted prices
-
When I went to my first game in 1995 (League Cup) I'm pretty sure it was one kid free with one full paying adult. Why can't they just do that again for the cup games against lower league opposition? I agree there should be kids for a quid at less glamourous league games, however it will bring up the argument that season ticket holders have paid more than that per game for their kids etc.

Well that's 90 minutes of my life I will never get back. Unfortunately can't see Lambert being involved in next qualifiers once Rooney, Sturridge etc are back.
-
Lets hope so!
-
So looks like Lambert is the scapegoat on Twitter tonight. Whilst he's not been great neither has anyone else.
-
What an awful game
-
C'mon Rickie!!
