Why do some people on this forum think that we've got a monopoly on a 'badly' run club. Go on virtually any other clubs plethora of forums and it's the same type of armchair internet 'football directors' spouting the same rhetoric. We've tried the big money approach on several occasions and it has invariably ended in disaster. Our forte is bringing through young talent or bringing in reasonably priced players who will help nurture those already here. The safest way, at the moment, of doing that is by utilising the loan system thus avoiding an Osvaldo type farce. Irrespective of whether we had sourced replacements or not, agents will know the dosh situation. I seem to recall a club not a million miles away throwing obscene amounts of money at journeymen after a big pay day.
