  1. PS BOTH kick off at 7pm.
  2. Hi guys n gals I don't post on here often nowadays, but I thought i'd let you all know that the Saints U23's are in action at the Snows Stadium (Testwood Stadium) on Monday 2nd Dec v AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League Cup Admission is FREE for everybody. Then on Friday evening the Saints U23's take on Man City U23's in the Premier League Two. Admission for this one is £3 whilst under 13's get in FREE.
  3. What with Man City up next.....Don't bet on it pal!
  4. I have to say that i agree with many of you. Kat took the 1st offer that came along. The B-llsh-t about 'getting the right owner' is looking just like that 'b-llsh-t'. I have heard grumbles about it for a while from fans but those grumbles are getting louder and i 'fear' that this will turn into a massive issue come the end of the season. Nick over on the UI is always 'sticking up' for the owners asking 'what have they done wrong?'. I think the fact that they haven't invested in new signings that we desperately needed in January is more than wrong, it's blatantly incompetent. It's obvious to me that Gao won't put his hand in his pocket. If he won't help us out in the situation we are in then he never will. This club could be on the verge of a major crisis because if we drop into the Championship our slide won't stop there. Everything that Markus did for us will be undone by his daughter selling out to a chinaman who is only here to suck up the Premier League cash.
  5. I think we are down, we have a horrific last 5 games. The club have ignored the fans and there is a LOT of anger out there.
  6. The Saints board are totally incompetent. The fans will turn on the manager and club now ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!
  7. This manager is beyond comprehension! Is he on a bonus to get us relegated?
  8. You are a blatant ****ing liar or you are as deaf as a doorpost. There was a section of booing AND some applause. You are on a wind up !
  9. You really are having a laugh mate!!! That first half was as dreadful as any football imaginable. In fact if you had put 22 manikins out on the pitch it would have been better than the **** we had to watch. The 2nd half was an improvement but Pelligrino is a grade A **** for starting with one up front against a side as bad as Stoke. The guy must be on a bonus to get us relegated!!!
  10. That result tonight may actually help Saints season, it will give our players a real boost knowing that they have more of a chance of reaching a semi final at Wembley. HOPEFULLY we can get a few positive results in the league before the Wigan game. Wigan will be more adventurous against us and that will actually help us i believe.
  11. Liverpool haven't even had to break sweat let's be honest. We are in BIG trouble!
  12. It is simple you cannot draw at home to clubs around you in this situation. I know it is tight in the bottom half, but I honestly cannot see us picking up enough points to get out of it, i really can't.
  13. I was at game. My ol mans mate was bursting for a **** and just flopped his wadger out and ****ed on the terraces amongst everybody. The giveaway was the rising steam cos it was ferking cold from what i recall.
  14. You are doing him a favour by telling him to watch Totton because they are a decent side!
  15. Totton are a decent side., You are doing him a favour by telling him to go and support them.
  16. It's all i had to go by!......As a station its a bit like 'The Sun' on the airwaves, a bit sensationalist but the commentary came across as a bloody awful game by and large. As for the Puel issue ....yeah get rid i say!!! I don't need Talksport to tell me what I have seen for most of the season.
  17. Boro were bloody awful in the 1st half according to Talksports commentary. Stuart Pearce and the commentator described them as a pushover until the penalty when they improved. Saints won So I am happy but PLEASE don't use this game to defend Puel. I still say he has to go. I will say that the referee appeared to be a bit soft on letting some fouls go from Boro players.
  18. One thing is for sure. We STILL have plenty of talent in the squad and with a few additions we could be pressing for the top 6 again. However, Mr Puel is supposed to put in place a game plan that works and he is also supposed to inspire them, he does neither. In fact he almost nullifies his own players with tactics that prevent us from penetrating opposing defences. Last night Gabbiandini was left isolated far to often. Apparently we have had two shots on target in THREE games. If Puel stays we will lose more than Van Djyke this summer and a relegation struggle next season will be a REAL possibility. We need to change Puel now to enable us to keep our better players and add to them.
  19. Pamplemouse you have to be Puels son, brother or lover! No right minded Saints fan can seriously believe that he is up to the job. THE PLAYERS ARE NOT PLAYING FOR HIM. You have lost the plot ..........end OF!!!
  20. Get Puel out. We were ragged, we were poor, our passing was well below par. We need to act now. With a few new signings in the summer we can still be decent, but our decent players look confused and its obvious to me that they don't believe in Puel. I am not going OTT but if Puel stays i fear many players will want out and a relegation battle next season is VERY LIKELY!
  21. I feel Puel has to go. There is a real negative air around him. If we stick with him, he will turn us into relegation candidates next season. Season ticket sales will surely drop this summer, i can't believe all of our S/T holders are going to pay £800 + to watch another season like this one. WE have DEFINITELY gone backwards. I would have Koeman back tomorrow. Saints board need to act as soon as the season has finished.
  22. On valentines day 1994 Saints played Liverpool at the Dell (which we won 4-2 live on Sky in the snow) My ex missus was fuming with me because i went to the game. She was at home with my baby son, he was two weeks old at the time, she was knackered having had two weeks of sleepless nights, i suppose the least i could have done was stay at home and cook her a valentines day meal..............So i compromised, i bought her home a KFC!!!.............That's the kind of man I am!
  23. Because I am involved in non league football nowadays I don't get to watch Saints often, I have only seen them three times this season, So i knew i never stood any chance of getting a ticket for this final and I am not getting too down about it. I never made it in 76 as I was only 9. I went to the 79 league cup final v Forest, the 92 ZDS final v Forest and the 2003 FA Cup final at the Millenium Stadium v Arsenal and i saw the JPT final. If any of you can't make it I reckon the next best thing will be to watch it in the centre of Southampton, so I am heading to the Spitfire to watch it, Hopefully it will be a great day and there will be lots of people celebrating in town. If I were you i'd book the Monday off just in case guys.
  24. Who the **** woke me up???
  25. its ok guys. Stop wetting your beds!!! .....................The fact of the matter is. IF we sign decent striker (or two), a goalscoring midfielder and a centre half we will probably be pushing for the top 6 if not this season then next. However, we may not sign anyone and see Fonte leave then we are talking bottom 6 this season and even lower than that next season YES the big R is perfectly possible. Over to you Les/Claude.
