Very possibly THE most ridiculous argument I've ever read. And I think you know it. Hence the multiple 'Tough sh*ts' Why do you keep referring to football fans as customers? When someone asks you who you support do you say 'O I'm a Southampton customer.' Of course you f*cking don't. Because although that may be the case its not the reason we go to football. We go to support the team! Not the f*cking bank balance. Its true that STH give more money to the club than the IMO more diehard who go to 15 home games and 15 away (my situation). I live in Epsom (about 70 miles away) and have Saturday school and although I have tried having a ST (last season) it just doesnt work as I can only make somewhere like 15 games. A waste of money for me personally (and before you say it, yes I prioritise my finances over that of my football club). So having made the trips to support the team at Doncaster, Derby, Cardiff, Swansea etc, isn't it fair I get to support them at the most important away game of the season. But thats not really the point and I hate 'I'm a better fan than you arguments' just the same as everyone else. So anyway, back to the point. Away fans give their support. Valuable support that earns the teams points. So as you say we would already be relegated if it wasn't for the STHs, but its not unfair to say we probably would already relegated if it wasn't for our away fans. x

Just like its unfair that members have to wait til next wednesday praying they arent all sold. Swings and f*cking roundabouts.

You're glad they haven't?!?!?! So that someone who has not supported the club up and down the country, spending sh*t loads of their own money should get priority over those who have. Yes true the club don't get any of the match ticket revenue, but the club would already be relegated imo if you halved our away support throughout the season. Our away travelling and the noise it makes has proberly earnt us at least 6 points this season (Preston) The fans who follow away are the toast of this club. They are proper heroes in the football world and should be rewarded in my opinion. So to give the opportunity to go to one of the biggest away games of the decade (and very possibly the last game we ever play) to some jolly fan who fancies going wild and hitting the road for once in the season disappoints me so much. I understand the reasons the club have not been able to offer the priority this time but I do not understand some of the fans rational that this is the fair way of doing things.

Yeah I agree that one above is definately the best of the lot. And that Kaiser Chief's one was f*cking abysmal lol. I found that so funny. He didn't even spell either of Kaiser or Chiefs correctly. That was truly terrible. But seriously someone try and get that one going tomorrow

Did anyone else arrive at St Pancras only to find out they had cancelled their trains to Derby for engineering works without giving any notice. Couldn't believe it, was so gutted. Had to go home and watch Gillette Soccer Saturday with the train and match tickets in hand. I'm still very annoyed about it. The result and reports have cheered me up obviously but I am so dissappointed. Did this happen to anyone else?

I can't believe by the 30th post there's only one person tipping Exeter and that's on penalties. I'm gonna go with... Saints 5 1 Exeter hopefully...

I've been looking forward to this game for what feels like a life time. All the idiots on Sky who say it feels like the season's just ended clearly haven't endured the same pain-staking dull summer with no football to discuss, think about or most importantly watch! This season is such an unknown quantity. I think that is what also makes it such an exciting prospect. No one on this forum could give a prediction as to where we'll finish and have enough bottle to back it with a wager with any confidence. But that's completely understandable. From a personal point of view I'm looking forward to tomorrow, more so than anything else just to be able to see with my own eyes this new brand of football that we have adopted. Win, lose or draw, although I'm desperately hoping its the former, the result is not that key, but the performance, crucial! So I think I'll turn up tomorrow at a drenched Ninian Park not knowing what to expect. The only thing I can hope for is that the team can produce a performance there or thereabouts to that of the West Ham game and to see if we are capable of competing against a typically Championship side at a difficult ground to get a result at. All in all I am just rabbling on and on because I can't put into words how excited I am right now. Good luck to everyone going across the bridge tomorrow and remember your waterproofs. There's not a lot else to say apart from COYFR!!!!!!!!!!!!
