Still too early in the season to be pouring over the results of these games. If Reading play say, Tottenham then of course you know who you want to win. But there's far too long left in this season to spunk or crap yourselves over a result in these games right now. The simple formula is 12 points available if you add up for each team. 2 draws and 8 are lost, 2 wins and 6 are lost. Looking solely at points injection then 2 draws is the only justifiably 'best' result for us tonight in my opinion.

I find news like this so disappointing. I'm not old enough to harp back to 'the good old days' but have always enjoyed the authenticity of what is at its roots a working class game. All this **** about replacing programmes with digital versions (if that's what it is) just completely takes the soul out of football. It's not supposed to be a well-refined, efficient day out. Stopping by the programme seller on the way in is part of the experience. This digital, social-media obsessed age is really starting to leave me more and more bewildered by society these days.
