Damn, I missed the post that made sense

You need to get out more (once?)
-
You say that as if what type of manager Martin will be in a year's time is relevant. All that we need to know is that what he is currently like; which is a poor, underperforming, inflexible manager whose tactics are currently taking us towards certain relegation with the lowest ever points total in PL history.
-
Well, the poster called pingpong apparently
-
To be fair, the Swansea ball retrieval team would probably be more tactically aware
-
So, according to this narrative the preseason discussion with the Board went something like.... Russell, by the end of November after a series of easier fixtures at the start of the season we would like you to aim to be adrift at the bottom of the league, with half the points of the nearest side, with the worst goal difference and to have only a third of the points of the previous relegation debacle. Oh, I nearly forgot please try to make sure that your tactics are derided by every pundit and journalist worth his salt. That will be all..

Perhaps one of the Group Administrators could set up a bingo type game where ball numbers are replaced by the minute of each ridiculous Saints defensive lapse

https://www.instagram.com/reel/DAQyHDeT-88/?igsh=ZmV0NGpreWtoaGpr  I think this explains Russell Martin's inability to accept the truth. We could send it to him .... but, unfortunately, of course, he wouldn't understand.
-
Much as I hate the idea of him leaving, it seems a certainty as our manager seems intent on changing nothing as we drift towards relegation. What do people think he will be worth by the end of the season assuming he remains fit and continues his upward path?
-
Are you paid to write this sycophantic crap?
-
Are you deliberately missing the point or just hard of understanding? The issue is not the occasional lapse but the constant repetition of mistakes and the complete failure to learn to a greater degree that any other team in the premier league. Together with the rewarding and reinforcement of this behaviour by a possession obsessed manager who values his ego over results.
-
He is 18 playing his first season in professionals adult football in the most competitive league in the world against some of the fittest players in world football at their physical peak, having only previously played academy and reserve football. Apart from that I totally see your point.

If David Brent was a football manager...
-
It feels to me that we have a young, potentially exciting team with some promising players.. Ramsdale, Dibling. Fernandes, Downes, Sugawara, Archer. Tall Paul (who knows) But they are being let down by a manager with a massive ego.
-
Certainly If we had a different manager today we would have won?
-
Lets see this season we have had brave defeats, unlucky defeats, poor defeats, embarrassing defeats, naive defeats, predictable defeats. Have I missed any out?
-
100%
-
Generally?
-
Southampton 2 Southampton 3
-
Times two then
-
Commentator just said "Southampton asking questions of themselves"
-
2-1 up from 31% possession. Surely that is impossible Russ
-
He was telling him he should have passed it on that build up to our penalty.
-
I disagree. How many times this season and last have we seen a Saints attacker in a good position turn backwards.
-
Indeed. Does RM not see the fact that the goal came from Dibling doing the opposite of his philosophy
