  1. He missed the start of the season when there were serious issues at the club and 3 managers, one of which didn't have a clue. He's important and nobody wants to see him out as it will affect us....but you're still being a drama queen.
  2. She's right though as if you need to accelerate suddenly to avoid someone then you'll look a bit of a plank when it's the rev counter going up rather than the speedo!
  3. What do you expect from a spanner who does that to the doors...
  4. Honda CRX VTi....suweet Lol: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1992-Honda-Civic-CRX-VTI-DOHC-LAMBO-DOORS-MODIFIED-/290543504334?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item43a5be0bce#ht_1333wt_1141
  5. We've been **** in the last 2 tournaments haven't we - been pasted and knocked out early on. P$ss poor.
  6. Seen it this morning - I'd agree with Claridge. No malice but it was a red card. It looked worse on telly than it did live
  7. Wasn't your view of his performance and sending off obscured by the stands, the Alps and several hundred miles though? You really are a prize plum* *I apologise and take it all back if you were at the game and saw it all, or have had the benefit of 48 action replays and slo-mos at the time of writing
  8. Agreed, but the card was harsh. He was always going to be in trouble if he didn't get to the ball first, but he stopped, slipped, and only made contact body to body, not with his feet. I was there and that was my 'real time' view. Not seen the replay yet, but honestly don't think it was a red...especially when you consider the gbh that their centre half dished out on AOC.....which was the freekick that Hammond scored from (lol)
  9. If you're on a yellow card, then you don't get in the linos face and start waving your arms about like some kind of demented muppet. He was a complete plank and he was always going to get a 2nd yellow for doing that. It I was Abbott I'd have shredded him for being a dunce
  10. Shearer missed in front of the Milton against Leeds when MLT was injured. MLTs miss, in my mind, was because he didn't want his 100th goal to be a penalty....so he saved it up and scored a stonker up the other end (left foot volley I think)
  11. I've just had some of that.
  12. Adam. Easily. AOC...he's decent but I think is being over hyped. Walcott was better in a higher league, in a team that wasn't challenging and was pretty much a year younger. Bale was, week in week out, the best though - higher division and very, very consistent over a whole season. He was also a lot younger than AOC.
  13. What he's missing is that 'Potential' = 'A requirement for shed loads of cash'. The clue should be in his next statement 'there's a new stadium to be built'....and they don't come cheap.
  14. Yep....I'll go along with all of that
  15. Will have to look at it again as I didn't think he moved his leg at all. I agree with Seaborne though. He's an ok L1 defender and squad player, but we should be looking for better for next season.
  16. I'd go with 3 dubious penalties. Chaplows was shaky but at least the player gave him a half hearted shove. Their first seemed to me to be a case of their player prodding the ball past Seaborne and then running into him. How does that work? The equaliser was mental. The ref had no real view - the lino did and didn't give it. The way I look at it we would have won that game 4-3 if the ref hadn't have been looking to even things up. The scapegoat thread wouldn't exist, we'd all be happy (well, except Alpine) and there would be nobody slitting their wrists hysterically - some of the comments on the reaction thread last night were frankly embarrassing...so many screaming drama queens on here. Take a look at it again in the cold light of day.......
  17. I don't blame any players. I blame poor substitutions. Actually, I blame Lee Todd. We let our standards slip to an unacceptable level after he was signed. It's been downhill ever since. Todays players think they're better than they are because they look at him and think 'if he was a premier league player then I should be playing for Barcelona'. This over confidence is costing us points. So, it's down to Lee Todd.
  18. That as it may be, but Vectis is bang on the money with his comment. Some games go like that - it was one of those games. 5 wins, 2 draws and a defeat in the last 8.
  19. :facepalm:Loving the hysterics of some tonight.....
  20. Mate, don't be a bandit. 5 wins 2 draws and a defeat from the last 8.
  21. Yeah, because this far out there's a driving seat isn't there..... If it was the last 5 matches, fair enough, but we've got 20+ games to go FFS
  22. We're gonna runout of legs in the middle of the parl
