  1. Very sad to hear the news of the death of Marcus Liebherr and thanks to him from all Saints fans for saving the club from extinction. I will never forget seeing him at Wembley at the Johnstones Paint Trophy final with a big smile on his face taking pictures of the event. Condolences to his family and heartfelt gratitude for the short time he was involved with the Saints. A true Saint, RIP Herr Liebherr.
  2. Why not Redcr@p? After all we had convicted crook in charge berfore before, the other Kray brother Ven@bles!
  3. I loved the old Archers Road stand next to the East stand at the Dell as it created a fantastic atmosphere with good natured banter from both sets of fans being within shouting distance of each other. My friend and I originally went to the Northam when we moved to St Mary's but subsequently moved to the Itchen North corner which was as good as the old Archers. Of course we got moved again when they closed the corners but I would love to be back adjacent to the away fans. For the record my friend and myself are both in our fifties and have NEVER been involved in trouble. Putting the away fans in the Itchen North would put them near the police control box and near where the away coaches currently park. We who like a little light banter could then relocate to the Northam.
  4. Its always amazed me that there's a stampede just before half time to rush down to the concourse and pay over the odds for cr*p food and beer at inflated prices to be consumed in an environment similar to B&Q. Also the "we always leave ten minutes before the end to avoid the rush" brigade, why not stay at home and avoid the rush for free? All the early leavers paid the price last night!
  5. It's blatantly obvious that splitting the vocal home fans into Northam and Itchen North dilutes the home support. When we were at the Dell the home fans in the Archers, at right angles to the East stand where the away supporters were housed, used to generate a fantastic atmosphere with great banter between fans. Surely it would be possible to put the away fans in the Itchen North and funnel them directly into their coaches at the end of the game. Further more the police would be right next door. With the home fans dominating the Northam end the support would be magnified and would look better on television as well.
  6. 1) Rednapp: No 1 f'sure by a country mile for the damage he caused. 2) Askham: Crook 3) Hoddle: Hypocritical sactimonious ***t 4) Bowyer: Thick racist thug. Didn't Hassan Kachloul take a swing at Bowyer when we played Leeds at the Dell? Let him(Kachloul) off any other misdemenours for that. 5) Lowe: Only saved from the No 1 spot because of St Marys
  7. That's strange, I thought MLT lived at Avon Castle near Ringwood, he's often seen in Ringwood. When did he move?
