At the same time, you do not have to keep asking the same thing over and over again, too many people on here think its some sort of competition to see 'who's right' and will not give up until someone submits, bit like you.

I understand that we should have played CP at him neon Boxing Day and then Chelsea away this Saturday. However thenLondon fixtures on Saturday were too congested and therefore that’s is why they were swapped. -
but joking aside, they were in top 4, so the OP is incorrect.

I think people have forgotten how garbage he was for us in the last two seasons, aside from one or two decent performances
-
he's a f*cking w4anker

I hope all this discontent on a football forum makes him go.

Wouldn't say he was forced out, he had the option of a renewed contract that he did not want to sign. he wanted to see out the final year before he did anything and Reed was not prepared to accept another manager upping sticks and going at no notice. Spo what happens? RK ups stick and goes! Great from Mr Reed. Listen, RK would have been found out eventually anyway, when he could not get the players he really wanted. This demise has not really been about the managers, it has been about the incompetents that have run the club in the last three years. A lady who never really wanted it, a hockey coach that no one understood what he was talking about, Les Reed, happy to talk about how great he was but not happy to talk about how **** he was.... and now we have Goa, barely said a word. The best thing we can do, as fans, if we want to show our displeasure is attack China (not literally of course, would be cool though, the Itchen North steaming in first). We have seen the effect of Ozil's tweet, they changed the game on state tv to spurs! They cannot take any criticism and as Goa seems to be part of the state, how effective it would be if we all started bringing in HK and Tibetan flags, posters protesting about China's treatment of Uighur muslims (disgraceful), their leader as Pooh. Anything to embarrass the state, that is the only way Goa will go, if that is what we want?

reasoned post mate. like anything, if you collaborate with the establishment then you are considered to be the establishment. Even though you are trying to convey a representation of people’s opinions the game had changed so much that many of us feel left behind, and I guess thinks like The Committee are just kicking back at the new football order that determine that we not say anything that might offend someone. We have to embrace everything including guys that want to be ladyboys, girls that want to be football pundits and those days and accept 18 year old been paid 60k per week to play football. I think a lot of us really want to walk away from this brand of football but we just can’t because all our mates are still going. I’m not sure I go to the football for the football anymore and if it wasn’t for my son, too young to know any better and my mates, I definitely wouldn’t be going. so I think the committee represents and anger from a generation that are feeling detached from the very game they grew up and loved. soe if is great, some a bit irrelevant and perhaps some is misguided, but as someone who did one of the fanzines back in the day, I was well guilty of that myself on more than one occasion. As for the saints voice, you have not addressed the claims that they have complained to the club about The Committee. There seem to be some certain individuals that are hell bent on not criticising anything the club does and asking for the Committee to be banned, or the individuals behind it. is that true and if so, how can you continue in the capacity when some shirters just want everyone to be nice?

bertrand was miles offside. Would never have counted.

One of the low points in Southampton FC’s history. To hope a man would die because he wasn’t very good at being a football manager is vile. and then the originators claiming there was a hidden message of arrogance, how original. a man that would play Paul Moody instead of Le God does not strike me as arrogant. and then you bring it back to the forefront, beating the old guy that did over his head again, like he didn’t get enough grief in the first place. It makes laugh when some say it was credited for staring the end of the road for Mr Branfoot now that is arrogant, we all know it was down to a Red Perry and SISA, or SISU, can’t remember, I get confused in my old age.

Looks like someone @back_milton is trying their luck on the same platform. just when you thought it was safe to get your shirt back out and get back on Twitter

A few Saints mushes on Twitter. Had quite a bit to say, they weren't fans of half and half scarves for example. They were a bit old skool, which was sort of the appeal.

So, i know someone, who knows someone, who knows someone on The Committee (or maybe i don't). They have disbanded mainly because of grassy, happy clapper fans who obviously do not like their stance on our own club and fan base. Think they were worried about 'actually' being banned from the club. I'm told that the club were monitoring the account and some fans had made complaints. Some suggested that the OB were watching too. It is the fans' 'grassing' that really disturbs me. I do not really do Twitter, so i did not see much of their stuff, but what i did see was great. The Committee reminded me of the old fanzine days where you could pretty much say what you wanted about the club and clearly some would disagree but the there did not seem to be this Happy Club (Saints Voice) crap in the background. The club did not like it, Alan Shearer did not like it and Ian Branfoot certainly did not like it, but WTF, who cared. These days you got to be so PC not to offend the people out there and clearly social media can have serious legal ramifications, so The Committee were always skating on thin ice, but that is what makes it great, the edge of the precipice. And above all, who really takes it seriously. It's not like you had to read it or it was an official mouthpiece. The lads (and lasses maybe) that ran it were desperately trying to encourage singing at away games in particular, any who was at Spurs this season will know how desperate that got but anyone who was at Arsenal will probably agree with Nick Illingsworth assessment on TUI this week, it was so much better (unless you were doing a ****ing dry November and carry a ****ing Fortnum and Mason Tea Calendar in a poncy Pam Am bag, but that's another story!). I know they encourage some of the old songs as well as perhaps some nawty ones (about Redknapp in particular), but you do not have to participate, just wait until the next rendition of OWTS comes round again, cause we all love that one, don't we. It is a shame, but sort of sums up football these days i guess. So glad i was around in the 80's and early 90's and jealous of those who went before.

Am i right in thinking that they close this for match days at The Emirates? I need to be back at Waterloo for 17-30, any Londoners suggest the best way of doing that please? Going to have to leave the game early perhaps, which may not be a bad thing but wanted to avoid Arsenal tube as everyone goes that way, don'y they? Thanks in advance.
