The problem with furloughing is if you want to open on a reduced hours basis. if you keep staff on, then technically, unless the contract otherwise says, you can’t just reduce their wages even for less working hours. obviously paying full wages can damage the financial stability of the company. Sonwhilst you want to carry on, it is not worth the hassle and money, better just claim the 80% etc. or, what about staff volunteering their Servcies for free? they get paid from the government and work for free. does that get around the rules? otherwise what is the point of trying to keep going?

too much emphasis on families and kids and face painters to get this happening on our country.

At least he’s speaking honestly. no fan of his myself bu5 prefer players to say how they feel rather than stereotypical sound bytes like, “I just keep my head down and playing me football....” blah, blah im sure he doesn’t give a toss about being disrespectful to Antwerp cause he ain’t staying there not doubt he thinks he’s better than that, don’t think there’s anything wrong with that.

good work Ivan. Going to Nick it for my FB.

don’t know what’s with face palm we have had a nice little mid season run of good results but you knew that we were significantly overachieving. next season, if we don5 have that kind of run then we are down.

at the end of the day, it's subjective. i think for the majority of the season, it has been relegation form, be hard pressed to say 'vast majority'. But thats my subjective opinion, which is neither right or wrong.
-
anyway, what were we talking about?
-
90% Vast majority - means almost all or something like 90% or more, but less than unanimous.12 Sep 2013

We were 80/1 at Betfred this afternoon. Not bad value for a technical aspect.

the penalty was loudicrous. SB was being tugged back, which is why he learnt forward and the ball hit his upper arm, crazy

I think relegation is a certainty next year. We're not going to improve at home and you would think our away form will not replicate our purple patch this season. Throw in the uncertainty around the club, the lack of signings and a manager that is a little bit overrated (by us), it's all a recipe for bottom of the league.

He is one of those players that you know can be better, so you keep waiting and every now and then, you will get flashes of what might be. But it is never going to materialise into anything consistent. We keep waiting and we keep hoping, but we are wasting our time, he is never going to make it in this league. Exactly the same as Gaston and look what happened to him. He left us and did nothing, no one missed him and it would be the same with Boufal.

Surprised no one has mentioned the support on Saturday. The second half rendition of "Pompey get battered...." was very impressive. Not a fan of the song but unlike some of my uber fan mates, if it gets a great atmosphere started then why not? Completely silenced their lot for a while, shame we can manage to do this only once a decade.
