not sure where you live but i find if it was not for the news and obviously the lock down, i would not know. I do not anyone that has died from it, has become seriously ill and as for the sirens etc. I hardly hear any anymore, maybe because the roads are quieter and there is not necessity to blast their way through perhaps?

it's not, i am a Labour supporter but in the end, Corbyn was a liability, embarrassing and a joke, so...

The bloke is a buffoon, our version of Trump, he is an embarrassment to this country. Nothing to do with politics, just an opinion on how he conducts himself. I mean. he nearly died because he was insistent on shaking peoples hands when advised not to, how stupid can you get and what sort of example does it set?

interesting as the ticket office have just called me. They have refunded my hospitality Brighton tickets. I mentioned the Watford tickets and they said that as the PL have not officially declared the rest of the season behind closed door, the refunds are all still pending. We have not had refunds from Watford or Norwich, they are awaiting official confirmation. Once that happens, then SFC will get the away refunds and then process our refunds. A bit pedantic (from the PL) but acceptable and least the club are now communicating!

a reply: Hello ****, Hope you are well and keeping safe. Apologies for the delay, I hope you can understand given the exceptional circumstances. We’re hoping to have clarification from the Premier League in the coming days regarding the fixtures, as regrettably we’ve still not had confirmation on the next steps. I have, however, forwarded your email to my manager and he will be in touch as soon as he can to see if we can action something sooner for you. Kind regards A reply at the very least, which is something but really, still do not get what they are waiting on from The PL, we aint going to these games, if they play them or not. If they cannot afford to offer refunds as Window Cleaner has suggested then they should be telling us that, though I do not think that is the case at all.

sorry mate, whats not clear? Don't go out, but go to work... If you can go to work but can work from home, don't go to work at work but work at home, but if you work at home then try not use public transport. If you do have to use public transport to go home then stay at home... wear a face mask but make one yourself by ripping up a tee shirt. If you are in the leisure industry then get a new job because that industry wont be around much longer. You can see one member of your family, but only in a park and only when it is dark, and if you bring another member of your household, ask them to bring a friend. Employers can start paying towards the furlough scheme, because clearly it is their responsibility to pay for this mess. Don't make workers redundant, keep paying them to stay at home Above all, this is the most important bit.... Make sure you queue properly at supermarkets but once you are inside the rules do not really apply.

It is pretty **** poor from the club. They have the time to communicate with the PL on Project Restart but not with fans that have shelled out money on something they are clearly not getting.
-
really didn’t want to go down the credit card chargeback section 75 process. Listen, even an acknowledgement would have been something. I presume you are not serious about rearranged games?
-
i get what you are saying and in the case of the travel industry, it is completely understandable. They have so much to do with. But a football club? I can understand the season ticket situation and happy to wait on that but match tickets for Watford and Norwich as well as individual hospitality purchases really should be looked at.
-
Not all staff are furloughed, the payroll for example are still managing to pay JWP's 70k per week. I emailed the club as I had purchased some hospitality for the Brighton game. £1400 I have paid for something that obviously i am not going to get back. No response at all. Do you think JWP is having trouble getting his wages? At the very least, an email back saying that the refund will be processed in due course, but no. The club is keeping hold of money that really isn't theirs anymore. It's pretty poor really.

it was Under the East, on the terrace. Not sure he said much, always at the front and we were behind him and used wear a hat. We used to bundle him when we scored and tried to get his hat. Pathetic behaviour to be honest.

Beardy, under the East Stand, late 80's and early 90's

these comments make me laugh, who have you been told by? It’s hardly non disclosure topic, so I am genuinely interested in who told you. But, the crowd doesn’t get on the teams back at all, certainly not from the start and certainly no more than any other ground I go to. Our fans noise is pretty crap anyway, like a lot of home grounds and of course there are going to certain individuals moaning all the time and maybe quite loudly, but I have a feeling that Ralph and the team aren’t worried about Jim in block 10, row q of the Northam. Clearly when we are losing to the likes of West Ham and Newcastle, there is going to be disgruntlement but you’d find that anywhere else. Fake news alert.
-
yeah, that was an awful performance. Reckon if we’d had another Dutch side in that round we may have got through to the group stages.
-
I'm certainly not being spiteful. I loved the time under RK, don’t think he was in the same league at MP (the 1st) but great all the same. But let’s not forget that it was not all good, but you can say that about any managers time, some more so than others.
-
yeah, some managers get lucky. His track record with other clubs is very hit and miss, Everton a great example.
-
thats a good point that I have been thinking about. A lot of casual fans and some very supportive ones will realise that it’s not their game anymore and they can do without it. Let’s face it, the PL clubs and players have hardly covered themselves with glory, furloughing staff using tax payers money whilst paying average payers 70k a week, no pay cuts or simply deferring wages. Think a lot of people are rightly ****ed off with football and won’t be coming back or even renewing their sky sports subscriptions. We were all wondering when the bubble was going to burst, think this virus has possibly ripped open hat bubble good and proper.
-
I’m finding that your average fan is not desperate for it at all. In fact the general census of opinion seems that most want the season capped as void.
-
So you don't remember the times when he was pretty much a game away from being sacked? Middle of the second season i think. Won the 3rd round cup game and we kicked on from there, but we were touted as relegation candidates at one point.
