  1. Is it just me but find Rambos distribution is pretty poor. You can see why Arteta got someone else in. Don’t get me wrong, he’s a great keeper, too good for us but struggling with Martins style - but I guess he’s not alone there.
  2. Yeah genuinely wish I hadn’t been to the San Siro that night 🤦🏻
  3. Attacking the wall this half. Should make a difference.
  4. Won’t be grateful for long.
  5. Thank you - that worked.
  6. I don't know if anyone can help? I cannot seem to logout of my son's account on Chrome, every time I try it loads this message. This page isn’t working mysaints.southamptonfc.com is currently unable to handle this request. HTTP ERROR 500 So it will not let me get out and login to mine. I've turned the pc off etc. but always goes back to this open account. Obviously I can go in another way via a different browser but that's a bit inconvenient as all passwords etc. saved on chrome. If anyone knows, please advise, thanks.
  7. I want to thank everyone for their kind words and thoughts. It brings us all so much together in these times. I’ve asked the club if I can keep his seat in the Itchen North free this season. He was so looking forward to being back up and I want him there with me this season. A lot of my friends are moving to the Northam but we talked about it be decided we wanted to stay wheee we have always been. It’s been his seat since he first went back in 2009 or so. I want him to have it for one last season and I hope the team do him proud. Thanks again everyone ❤️😇
  8. I don't know if Elijah was on here, he was on Nicks site who have done a really nice tribute but I know some on here will know him from away games and maybe refereeing some of you, he did so many games and we have been overwhelmed by the messages we have had from so many people he knew and they loved him so much. Glenn Cockerill knew him from his officiating at ex saints games and Roger East, who he spent time with in Madrid at a tournament has messaged. The last home game v West Brom, while we went to the pub to celebrate he waited for an hour to see the referee Tim Robinson, who took the time to see Elijah, who he had met before, such a nice gesture. But there have been so many more from friends. Elijah went to most games home and away and apart from a small time when he was young, declaring his support of Liverpool, which lasted 5 minutes after I had a word, he was so passionate about Saints and as an old pessimistic man like me who has endured those years of disappointments, he was always looking on the positive. Remember those days when we so young and thought so optimistically about our team? As I said, grief is strange, I'm broken by this and going to football will never be the same again. He had such great friends, people on here that have all written such beautiful things about the boy that used to wind the fuck up out of us all at some point and like I said, there may be people on here that don't know he passed away during the night at his student house in Southsea. We think it was to do with his epilepsy. I am sorry if this is not the place but we are all one big family really and to all those mums and dads, enjoy every moment at football with your kids, the good times like a few weeks ago and when we are not doing well next season, it really doesn't matter.
  9. On a football front these two have nothing left to offer. They’ve done nothing of note for the last two years and this is the reason why we’re finishing bottom next year. Thought the owners had learnt something in the last two years. Clearly not if we’re signing these two has beens.
  10. LOL - think he's talking about Keith Legg and Darren Wheeler maybe. I struggle to understand how people that have been to Saints games did not get a ticket?? Surely everyone on here has been to a few games?
  11. Cause priority should be to those who make the most effort
  12. 2+ aways FFS absolute shit show
  13. I'm not really in a twist about it, made it clear that I really like the guy but was watching the Euro Final documentary on Netflix last night, about the final and all that and David Beckham was there, in the nice seats, with Tom Cruise. And yeah, I am being naïve I know, just pisses me off, freeloaders who don't really have an interest (not in Frannys case), but just want to be there. Up the revolution comrades.
  14. Just reading Franny’s column in The Echo and noticed this “I plan to travel up and watch the match unless something comes in last minute. But the plan is to go to West Brom and watch the game.” Two things stick out. Has Franny got 11 plus always on his ST? And how dedicated is someone to go, ‘unless something comes up….’? I’m going and would take a lot to come up and when people say “you going on Sunday…?”, my answer is yes, I don’t then say, “unless something comes up”. I like Franny, was around in his era and know him in passing. He’s done stuff for me and I’ve done stuff for him, he is a top bloke and to me, a Saints legend. But should he have a tickets over someone who’s done 10 aways and missed out? I don’t know where Franny’s ticket is coming from, maybe Sky and then that dismisses the argument maybe, but if it’s one of the 300 held back for the guest list as such, then not sure it’s right. Obviously Cortese set his stall out on freebies and hangers on, maybe too far but he was like, why don’t they pay like everyone else? And I sort of get that. Maybe there’s a specific budget for past players etc. don’t know but just feel sometimes, old players might be expecting too much.
  15. Everton away in a cup was one of the more recent ones
  16. practise doesn't make perfect It makes permanent
  17. Yep. Irony eh.
  18. Yeah can’t wait for Premier League and you fucked it up…
  19. It's a shame on what the Cup has turned into. I know we have gone over it many times but the replay decision recently was just criminal. You can blame the FA and The EPL and the TV companies, and they are culpable, but do you know who I blame the most. The fans that want to finish 17th over a Cup Final, bunch of newbie wankers.

Just seen this online and clearly a complete waste of money, but it's concerning that you get 'priority for away games'. How does that work? Up to now, priority has been the fairest way, the more you do, the more opportunities you get, which works for me. Having some Noddy who's fallen for the club merchandising having a ticket over me is not going to go down well.
  21. Watching Man City last night, maybe not in the same scale but it was like watching us sometimes, all show and no pony. They just wanted to walk it into the net and then look what happened. The better team by miles counted for nothing.
  22. Its not Ninian is it
  23. anyone know who are in the elite fans consultation group?
  24. thanks, not been to NP myself, so looking forward to this one.
  25. Is our allocation sold out? How many are going?
