Sorry, I can't keep up with all these threads (so I've started another), when I last looked it was Andrew Llyold Webber and Gordon Strachan, now we have Kevin Keegan who was seen at Matty's house last night in Ringwood even though Matt still lives in Hedge End and Keegan still has a house in Romsey and some bloke called Jim Radcliffe who is some sort of sailor (which is frankly suspicious anyway) is now the new owner edging out Rod Stewart (who is furious) whilst Branson, who wanted Alan Shearer hasn't had a look in recently. Wotte still thinks its going to be him and Rupert Lowe has been dangerously quiet, Lawrie is still involved somewhere in all of this while Leon just wants his money back and who's this Tony bloke? So, please update me, who is the new owner and who will be the new boss? Thanks

I think that it must be a celebrity (Jade?) because any decent businessperson (and if they are worth hundreds of millions they must be decent) would have day to day involvement. To sit back and let a few others run the show seems like its someone who doesn't know what to do with his/her money.

my point really is "its been great awaiting the takeover", I was never in doubt that we would be taken over and thats why I never saw the point of putting any money in the buckets etc. a point proved when we couldn't pay the wages. So now we have all the bidding etc for the club and the best bit now is this expectation that we now have a mega rich owner, but we don't know who it is and we are all guessing etc, hoping its Branson or Rod and WGS is coming back. probabaly gonna bite us all in the arse (Specially if Surman is going, unless he wants to), but its exciting waiting to see what is going to happen, just waiting for that thread to appear, The New Owner is....., bit like the original Paul Allen thread, was that not exciting?? As I said, damn sight more exciting than last season's Total Football.

I have to say that this takeover is proving to be more exciting than last season's football, can we do it again next year? Maybe in March we can have the Northam and Itchen North start the "Stewart/Branson/Beckham/Chemical Ali OUT" chants and then we can all do it again next off-season, otherwise what else are we going to do?
