personally this is all way over the top, counted about 8 posts that were critical of matt and apart from a couple of outright tossers most were reasonable critiques without being personal and accepting that perhaps he'd been a bit naive or duped etc. so all this ******** that the whole forum is slagging off matt is just (as usual) complete overkill. at least that was a bit more adult than "**** off you ****s", that said, some people do feel let down, but thats how they feel, can they not express it without being verbally abused, Darren originally said Now he does not know that Matt was blinded by the fact that he was going to be chairman, but its a fare assessment, I think anyone would be excited by that. However darren perhaps should have started by "I think....." rather than addressing the issue as fact. And he feels let down, well thats how he feels, you just can't argue with his own emmotions. However it does not excuse people verbally shooting him down for expressing an opinion, if called MLT a p[rick or whatever then fine, he would desereve the same contempt back but he didn't, the fact that he cares so much about Le Tiss is the reason he feels let down.

I think its disgraceful that if someone questions (not slags off) someone, even if it is MLT then people have this attitude that they are wrong and should be hanged etc. I met Matt a few weeks ago, got a picture etc, he is God, but has he made some judgemental errors in the last few weeks? well from the outside, it certainly looks that way. But i cannot say that without being accused of being a Skate or something like that? ****ing riddiculous. There is right bunch of morons on this forum, especially in the last few posts. Those people who have called Matt Le Tossier are *****s, theres no substance to statements like that but Darren made a valid point and is being patronised and almost bullied by a bunch of 'know it all, been supporting saints since i was 2, I'm never wrong' idiots. Matt is a top man, but like all of us, it seems (and until we hear from him about what he actually knew) he was a bit duped, and like I SAID BEFORE, HE AIN'T THE ONLY ONE BY FAR.

I think there is an over reaction here and you are being very naive if you think starting a positive thread on a day like today is going to happen. I for one would agree with anyone who says that Matt's judgement in this should be seriously questioned however maybe he will come out eventually and let us know why he believed in Pinnacle. However, some of the posters here should not be personally insulting Matt (absolutely no need for it and its bang out of order), I have no doubt that he had the best interests at heart, if he was duped, then he ain't much different to most of us and an executive administrator.

your hero being strung along by a bunch of chancers? God, I hope not, but if Pinnacle don't sign the deal tomorrow how will Matt come out of this? You can take absolutely nothing away from what he has done for this club as a player and even since (Sky News when Saints beat Sheff Utd) but as another D Day approaches what happens if we find out that Pinnacle have wrecked our club and Matty was spearheading (and I use spearheading in the sense that he was just a 'figurehead') the group. Is/Was Matty so wrapped up in the thought of being Mr Chairman that he either failed to see what was behind this group or ignored what he saw behind the group? What happens if we find out that Matt was in ona campaign to take over our club which was built on exaggerated truths and fly by night chancers, because thats how they currently appear to me. And it is tragic that if I am right (hope I'm not) that the great MLT was part of it, innocently or not as the case may be. If it all falls through, how will history judge Matt on his part in Pinnacle and more importantly, how will we?
