dont understand what you are going on about the points deduction, we didnt go back up from the championship to the PL because we were not good enough and spent no money, and had an idiot in charge for half the season, the points deduction came later.... last season we were way off Brighton, and had Huddersfield chasing us all the way, we only clinched auto promo in the at last game (or was it last away game..?) at Plymouth, no guarantees in the play offs, so it could have gone very badly after all the money we spent. HTH

teams are never as good on paper, ala Saints and Brighton last year, we should have won that league by miles with the squad we had, what i am saying though, is that WHU should be good enough to be promoted and it amazes me when some of the posters on here think they are not good and will collapse. That may well happen, and I hope it does, but i think it is unlikely, they have so much strength in depth and they have players that can score soals. And they are certainly good enoufgh, they have, like us, proved that all season.Finally, as far ar Fat Sam is concerned, to say he is a crap manager is ridiculous! You may well not like his style, but he kept BW in the Prem, took em to Europe and they never looked like getting relegated until he left. His venture at Newcastle was always going to fail with what was happening with that club at the time and again, another stint at Blackburn resulted in him being sacked when they were 13th! How thet could do with him now. And here he is sitting 2nd in the Championship, a game in hand won and they would be top. Their first season down here and they are going straight back up, a feat many clubs fail to do, we didn't! Yeah, he has spent money, what manager wouldn't? That does not guarantee you anything and nearly cost us last year. Aside from all that, Fat Sam, what a crap manager! Some people need to appreciate that Saints are not the only club around.

do me a favour! what is this obsession with some of our lot thinking the at WHU are about to implode? Is it jealously that they have not gone on such a poor run as we did over Dec/Jan? Do you think they are owed that? I think they actually do better away and are probably more nervous at home because of their supporters. I have no doubt whatsoever that they will be promoted auto, there's only 3 teams in it and they have the strongest squad on paper by far.

Two things: Why do people think it is worthwhile, as a Saints fan to engage with them on their forum. I have a look from time to time, but to get into conversations etc. that StuRomseySaint, what a knob! Might as well be one of them, isnt he a Nick illingworth wannabee anyway? And the other. Why are we calling them Pompey? Its their ****ing nickname ffs, do you think they call us Saints? They should be known as either Portsmouth or better still, 'the lot down the road', Pompey, about as cringeworthy as Bompey!

can someone help me please? Everytime i go for a stream i always seem to be asked to download some video player etc (which i am always dubious about tbh), and it still doesnt work. i have a pretty modern pc etc, and other people tell me that i should just get straight on, any advice??
