  1. I wonder how much influence Musk will have now - and in future. Since trump is getting on, musk is a good shout for the next 'personality' president. (Edit - I know he isn't eligible now, but that could change...)
  2. Will be an interesting trial of what a badenoch government would look like, and what a government winning on an antiwoke platform can do to improve the important issues affecting the population at large.
  3. I'd have more sympathy for that if they had changed since the election, but this was on the cards before the election and is exactly what people voted for. They said back in may that there would be tough decisions needed to tackle the NHS crisis and the budget is true to their statements made before the vote. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/article/2024/may/24/keir-starmer-tuition-fees-pledge-prioritise-tackling-nhs-crisis
  4. Seems like a dodgy link based on personal vendetta. As you were. https://tribune.com.pk/story/2507413/algerian-boxer-imane-khelifs-leaked-medical-report-reveals-xy-male-chromosomes
  5. I don't think there's any evidence she knows now even - and judging by the Olympics backstory, I'd be surprised. There's certainly every indication she grew up beyond adolescence with no knowledge of any intersex conditions.
  6. Could be androgen insensitivity syndrome then, which would match up with the fact that she has grown up and lived as a woman with no indication otherwise. Affects more people than you probably realise, just that many wouldn't get tested for it. If that was the case, it doesn't justify the hate they get for it ‐ imagine living your life into your 20s as a girl and woman, and then finding that out only after winning olympic gold and being hounded by a bunch of angry antiwoke snowflakes baying for your head. Source seems shit though, so equally who knows. Hopefully such reports don't put her in any physical danger.
  7. Good performance, 3 pts. Great goal. Think people on here need to realise, every point is a scrap for a team like ours, we are back on track for the 13pts total we need, COYR!
  8. Looked decent enough first half, easily the better of the two teams, can't ask much more than that. Good to see Manning back, we miss him when he isn't there. Stephens with some nice passes too. Armstrong and archer are biggest threats, reckon one or both will score second half. Ref terrible.
  9. Nailed on that we will get a armstrong goal, Manning assist.
  10. She should do OK. If you look at the people she's alienated, it's only pregnant mothers, transgender people, autistic people, civil servants, and immigrants - not exactly tory target voters. There's still plenty of voters to win over and you can see from the hysterical reaction to the budget that there is a great appetite to swing the needle in that direction. Can see her staying around for at least the next election and doing quite well.
  11. Oh no. https://www.pensions-expert.com/Investment/Budget-2024-Bond-managers-downplay-gilt-market-volatility?ct=true
  12. Last years target was to be around the playoff places, exceeded. This year the target is 13pts, and whilst we aren't there, it is still achievable. He's doing OK.
  13. In a kemi-future, this person would be forced to use the women's toilets, they're a good example of how you can't "always tell". Without the top surgery scars, I don't believe anyone on here would know they were trans.
  14. I think they are saying it's a cost for the employer associated with the employees salary, ie part of overhead associated with each employee. I wouldn't consider it as "my money" though, it's very much a tax on employers that just happens to be associated with the number of employees and their salaries. If they abolished it, it wouldn't pass on to me, I'm sure...
  15. What's the score? (Possession, obviously, I know the goals)
  16. Not sure why dibling doesn't count, but it would be quicker to name players who haven't improved? Nearly all of our players are better than they were before he joined, some markedly so, eg bednarek, smallbone, kwp. But being better doesn't make them good enough for the premier league, or to be eyed by big clubs. The best manager in the world can't get smallbone to real Madrid level. So easier question, who has gotten worse, or stayed the same? Sulemana maybe? Anyone else?
  17. Currently 80 to 1, could be worth a tenner...
  18. We are one of the best teams in the league. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/videos/clyg5e7yj02o
  19. That's not so rare, a lot of slave rape back in the day.
  20. 10pts would be amazing, our season target is 13 - if we're on 10pts in January RM should get another contract extension.
  21. Children's mayor has some serious flair in that unveil picture. As a city of sanctuary, 100 percent agree, really positive and great to see.
  22. Best game for aribo in a long time, capped off with a goal. Manning and kwp our biggest threats down the left, dibling on the right, archer on the scoresheet, what's not to like?
  23. It is national curriculum, part of the previous governments insistence on teaching "British values". To be fair, it's an important subject and thought provoking. The answer is architect, by the way.
  24. Apparently it was the "n word"...
