This has actually been a good thread /read for me!! Can't be arsed to post on here most of the time but I've definitely lost interest. I hope it comes back but it's not just Saints. I saw a player the other day (i cant even remember who it was now), playing for a team on MOTD and I didn't even know he had gone there. Normally I would be up on those things. Not had a real urge to get to a game yet either. I was going to try and get tickets for West Ham away last week when they went on general sale. I forgot, until I saw the sold out article flash up on facebook. Not like me at all. I was a little gutted. Wanted to see the new ground really and its transformation post the Anniversary games, which I went too earlier in the summer. Then I thought to myself that at least I've saved some cash. As a few have said, I just don't know why. I wouldn't have it down to our poor start to the season. Just a football in general thing i think. I'm sure it will come back one day....maybe when the money disappears and teams like Man City are average again.

Should have lost by more!

Post-Match Reaction: SAINTS 3-0 Norwich City

8th with 4 points. According to this site anyway: http://www.footstats.co.uk -
Not been to a mid-week game for a while and probably wont go again for a while! Game finished at what 21:35? We were stuck on the M3 at 23:35 (quick KFC stop en route delayed us a bit more). Back to Bristol 1am. 0-0 didn't really help matters.

J-Rod

Poor. But despite poor Gazza's critics (including me!) he made a few good saves today and his distribution is better then Artur's. I would like to see Gallagher start next week. COYR.

Would You Care If Pochettino Left Tommorow?
Yate Saint replied to Pastor Patrón's topic in The Saints
But what if we beat Liverpool. Will there be a thread titled 'We really need Pochettino to stay'? Rome wasn't built in a day and we can't win them all.... -
Twitter says Davis replaced Lallana!

Thought we looked good second half. Nice to see Gaston have an impact for once. Lets hope he can continue with it... Lambert is not playing well at all at the moment, he cannot go to Brazil on this form surely. I'd like to see Gallagher have a bit more time to show us what he can do. Clyne is obviously fit now after coming on but will he oust Chambers out of the side who has been excellent so far this season?

Looked like he was getting a bit frustrated. He might be trying too hard but I hope he scores next week to give him a another boost.

Post Match Reaction & MotM: SAINTS 1-1 Sunderland
Yate Saint replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
What a frustrating game to watch. JWP was immense and can only get better. Clyne did well considering he was a left back and I thought Lambert and J Rod struggled a bit. Maybe they tried too hard because of Osvaldo waiting in the wings!! I do enjoy Fonte late goals though. He is good at them. Gaston and Osvaldo to start next week. -
I'm tempted to go to this fixture next year. I've heard there is a good Ice Cream Van. I wonder who will be playing in this fixture next season who are on tour with the first team at the moment. Will be interesting to see.

Sunderland 1-1 SAINTS // Post-Match Reaction
Yate Saint replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Thank god for Puncheons quick reaction. I wanted us to win and then enjoy the relegation fight next week but we must hope that Wigan lose Tuesday to make it an easier day... Shame the season is ending like this. Was looking so rosy not so long ago. -
You can't blame him. 1) Wonder goal 2) Edges Spurs to a Champs League spot 3) Wasn't long left If all those were not applicable today he probably wouldn't have celebrated as much. He's a good guy. I hope he leaves Spurs though as we wont win anything there.

Tottenham 1-0 Southampton // Post-Match Reaction
Yate Saint replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Played excellently today overall. Bale scores a cracking goal while making his old team sweat it out more in the relegation fight. If Wigan win game in hand then it could be us in the bottom 3 come the end of the seaon. Nervous times ahead! -
We didn't look very good. The last 6 mins injury time was the worst injury time I have ever seen. Not good enough and we will go down if this continue. Simples.

Newcastle 4-2 Southampton // Post-Match Reaction
Yate Saint replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
It's clear that Newcastle will be a force again next season. I would worry about having so many French players though. We didn't really get going and shame Puncheon didn't come on a bit earlier to give us a bit more going forward. Back to Fonte and Yoshida next week me thinks. -
What is your favourite food... "on toast"

Chill con carne on toast is good. -
Wigan 2-2 SAINTS /// Post-Match Reactions

Darn. We need to start getting those 3 points soon as the likes of Reading are starting to push on. Could find ourselves in the bottom three again soon. Not such a confidence booster! -
I was the same. I remember there was a really fit blonde girl on S4E. Think she lived in America. Can't remember the name though. It was probably some hairy arsed bloke really, but her pic was nice all the same.

I fear for the future of this thread.

Cork at RB is a worry. I remember him playing there against Notts Forest and had a bit of a mare! In Cork we trust though, he has been brilliant this season. COYR.

I really hope not. I hope he stays for as long as Bridge did. Lets hope AOC dad is not his advisor....

What a gutser. Very nearly had them but it took a wonder goal to get the draw. I'm glad it was one of those then a boring long throw into the box with Davis flapping all over the place and then Jones scoring with a tap in. It didn't show at all that Stoke were down to 10 men which was disappointing. Still in the mix down the bottom and that's all you can ask for going into the New Year as it could be a lot worse. COYR.
