Lowes curiously timed holidays come into this somewhere. I think we may well have seen the last of him at SMS,possibly Wilde too. Either administration is guaranteed or this story has legs.

more like it Andy

i would like to nominate zippy, bungo and george for the board, perfect puppets -
Then he must have taken in chocolates and flowers.

Could be that Leon went to the club to tell them that he intends to apply to the courts to examine Lowe/Wildes handling of the companys' affairs ?
-
The most important thing that needs to be revealed is the sexuality, then we can go onto minor things like the chances of going into admin.
-
We need some inside perspective on these rumours.

Uber-fans live in cloud-cuckoo clock land.

Bale is not a fullback,he is a very good pacey left midfielder, a rare breed. Will end up with top 4 club in right position in 2/3 years.
-
This season has proven to Lowe that many thousands will not go to SMS while he is here. Those numbers will increase if we go into admin and are relegated. Gaining full control will compound this problem for him. This is the last roll of the dice for Lowe,if we go into administration he WILL walk away with his little tail between his legs. Goodbye Roops.

Having dealt with quite a few thousand students over the years,i think i know a bit more about their activities than you Zurich. Not that i attribute to them any more than a minor loss to the Saints. My main point being that most clubs only have a hardcore of uber-fans who will go come-what-may,those uber-fans need to get over it or do the other thing.
-
SW,think FA or League rules state that players of clubs in admin. have to cancel their contracts,so that they can try to find other clubs.
-
Don't be daft Window. Won't need to be anwhere near that figure.
-
Some people seem to be assuming that we might have a choice. If the bank say no to any new money we are insolvent, and thats that.
-
You are a silly boy Zurich, get back to your cuckoo clock.
-
Heard they got 8 million for Dell site.
-
Players become free agents when we go into admin as far as i am aware.
-
It is obvious that we are still losing money each month, shareholders are not going to put money in,and the bank will not let the overdraft increase. We are insolvent, and must declare ourselves as such.
-
Expect Lowe told players on monday to play for their careers. Not a good history for players of clubs going into admin.

If the uber-fans on here had a brain between them they would realise that many clubs have a very diverse fanbase. Southampton has a very big student population( very high proportion foreign ) who enjoy watching top quality players and were willing to to go to premiership matches, but are not willing to pay to watch the dross being served up at the moment. It is also perfectly obvious that most of those travelling from all over the south to watch Saints were split between those who are probably not particularly Saints Fans, but just want to watch top teams when they are in the area, and Saints fans who are willing to travel to watch top teams, but not a reserve team. Those uber-fans who want these lesser fans or attendees to stay away permanently need to realise that that outcome would mean Saints never playing in the premiership again,as we will never achieve it without the income from those who are not coming at the moment. You moronic uber-fans might just as well start up AFC Southamton so that you can wallow in your great uber-fan status.

I will give you one very good additonal reason for the drop in attendances. The last recession was supposed to be in 1991. I was in the taxi trade at the time, and the taxi trade divebombed in late 1989.The taxi trade is a good barometer of economic activity. I would suggest that this area enters recession a lot earlier than most places, which would tie in with the drop in our attendances in percentage terms compared to other areas of the country.
-
The posts on this board supporting what that jackass said point to how the fanbase is split, between the uber-fans and those who choose to attend matches as and when they see fit.
-
Boycott all the groups papers, including Star and sundays.
-
Has Mick Dennis ever written a similar article about any other relegated club ? I doubt it very much. I suggest every Saints fan sends an e-mail to their letters page stating that they will boycott all Express Group newspapers unless a fullsome apology is printed PROMINENTLY. And that Saints fans will encourage evryone in the area they know or meet to boycott their crap papers as well. **** the arsehole(s) !!!!!!!

There is a possibility that Roopert will not be safe in his own back yard.
