I don't take too much notice of his record in Holland,you only have to look at the shenanigans that has gone on in the national squad the last 15 years to see that the Dutch ego makes managing almost impossible. He IS s a class act as far as persona and demeanor is concerned,and is why the Saints fans instinctively took to him.Manager-wise is too early for a proper assessment,but i would be surprised if a prem club did not take him at some stage,if he does not get there with Leicester. I am a people expert Nickh,which is why i knew Burley and JP would fail.They are typical of managers who cannot command the respect of players,despite what players may say to the press,as we are seeing this week at Chelsea.You cannot succeed as a manager these days unless the players are 100% with you.This is why Benitez will ultimately fail.

DP,i think SOME people may be over-estimating Pearson on the limited evidence so far. However,most are just stating that he should have been given a chance this season,and not just cast aside to asuage? Lowes ego. The problem is that this season will be viewed intrinsically in terms of getting rid of Pearson and replacing him with foreign coaches of no note and no experience of British lower league football. People must remember that this is the 6th most important league in Europe.No other chairman would have made the decision that Lowe made. Which amply demonstrates that this season is more about Lowes ego than anything else.
