I have said before on this forum that buying STs helps arseholes like Wilde and Lowe to completely ignore the fanbase. Forget about the club needing the money,no business should be run on the basis of receiving so much of its money up front.
-
Having seen your posts over the weekend SM i can't really take anything you say seriously. I was right about Burley and i am right about J(V)P. The dressing room is as good as lost.
-
You sussed my code qwerty. Egotistical vanker he is indeed.

Are those who could invest the biggest traitors?

Have to laugh at the jackasses like Mowgli who are suddenly trying to lay the blame for the clubs demise at the feet of the fans. -
Last time i looked he was the joke non-manager.
-
Lowe/Wilde/JVP. According to these 3,our problems on and off the pitch have nothing to do with any of them. With JVP it is ALL the players fault. His press conferences are just unintelligible drivel.I believe the players have no idea of what he is on about most of the time. JVPs' performance on the touchline Saturday was of a totally clueless non-manager. Players will NEVER accept that it is always ALL their fault,it is a team effort from all on the football side. JVP is as egotistical as Lowe.If he hasn't lost the dressing room already,he soon will.

Spot on Derry. Aministration is our only hope. -
Ivan, you really must not post sensibly on this forum.

What information is that Burleys bum chum Mr Bungle.
-
Does anyone really care that much anymore?
-
Booing Lowe,Wilde and JP more like.
-
Sign 2 Forwards,6 Midfielders,1 1/2 Defenders,1 Goalkeeper. Don't worrry about defending. Who needs proper fullbacks? Who need defenders who can jump and head a ball? Is JP even MORE stupid than Burley?
-
A lot of the drop in attendance is due to appointing Reknapp, who didn't want to be here, followed by another disinterested, idiotic drunk, and now another manager who thinks you can play professional football without a proper defence. When you serially choose those kinds of managers,it is hardly surprising that fans lose interest.

The players are capable of doing much better RIGHT NOW. They need to move the ball forward at a pace whereby the whole team to can move forward together. At the moment we are moving the ball forward too fast and loosing it to being outnumbered or to poor passing, before the other players can join in. More haste less speed.
-
Remind me Willo where JP has admitted anything other than the players mistakes. We do not have a proper team,we have a collection of disconnected departments who do not work properly together. This has nothing to do with having young players, they have not grown up playing this way. What on the surface looks to be an atrractive and intelligent way to play,is anything but intelligent, and not effective. To expose your defence to the degree that our defence is exposed is plainly dumb, especially with so many inexperienced players. Our team does not move forward or back as a team, leaving huge holes at the back that opposing teams are exploiting at will, and not getting enough players forward quickly enough when we attack. Either JP gets the players operating the system effectively,or he should modify the system to suit the players he has got.
-
For such a young team, do we lack genuine pace?
1965onwards replied to shurlock's topic in The Saints
Well said Derry,we are defending too high up the pitch with this offside trap that very few sides have ever been good at,and making it easy for teams to hit the ball over the top at our hopeless FBs. -
Aren't the Masai around 7 feet tall? We could have a complete team of Peter Crouchs.

Good movement can be more effective than pace. We just have too little of it in dangerous areas. -
If you think Burley is an international class manager,i worry for you Nickh. I saw early on that Burley was a poor motivator, complete excuse maker, and cluless about defence(seems to be a trait for international defenders who manage Saints). If you don't think RL is egotistical,i think you are in a very small minority. Not even many of his supporters would agree with you there IMO.
-
We are run and managed by 2 dogmatic egotists Nickh. I can see it as plainly i could see what Burley was after a few months.
-
We had the funds to bring in 6 midfield players/strikers,when we already have plenty with potential. This is as ridiculous as it was under Burley.
-
I am prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt on this one Nickh. Perhaps if he had not instigated this ridiculous off-side trap with defenders who have hardly played together,we would not have been 3-0 down.
-
So you are agreeing then,Window, that it was not the buyer who let the cat out of the bag. So my point is valid.
-
You are right about the effectiveness Nickh, but we do not know the state of mind behind it. But there again, would it have been so effective if it had not been against a team leading 3-0 and coasting. We will never know.
-
His opinion is as valid as yours Nickh. Losing your supposed evenhandeness are we?
