Last year at this point WBA had only won one or possibly 2 games by this point and then won the league....the differences between us and WBA are as follows at this point in the season
They had passion
They had a leader on the pitch..who led by example...
They had a manager who understands what it takes to get out of the league
They had a decent defence
They had a decent keeper
They had strikers who could score goals..
The club had some finacial backing and committment to get promotion.
If only we could some of it right ....
Cornish Rattler..just does what the evil brew is supposed to do..deadly on draught, not sure how far up country this deadly brew has gone, but worth a pint or two if you can find it.
A real legend, thanks Rick for everything, enjoying jamming with Syd..
Saw him last time at the Albert Hall , playing with Dave Gilmore, Nash and Young, plus David Bowie..a night to remember ...
I have supported Saints for nearly 50 years, the past few seasons have been a very dark period for us all, the problem is that there is no light at the end of our tunnel
Make no mistake we are in a lot of trouble and it is not going to get any better for a very very long time.
I intend to cough up a fiver..this forum is a life line for us long distance supporters that the club chooses not to aknowledge , even via the official site !!!
Keep up the great work guys !!!
Must have missed something..why would Surman leave us for Reading ????
