Great game. The first time i have been really upbeat on a Saturday for a while. We are back to being the dominating team. The minor slip in form is behind us now.
-
My local pub had the game live.
-
I would sign him. He can play wide, something we lack players for.
-
We are crap and have been since the Bristol away game. Don't blame the ref. Amazing how we are still top of the league. We can still win it, despite a really poor run. Come on saints.
-
Still waiting for an english translation.
-
He could have made a big impact last night. I hope differences can be settled.

The wrestlers at Brentford in the Carling cup was the all time best half time entertainment. "EASY, EASY, EASY".

Just saw Tim 'Pompey' Westwood's dongle, and it was this small.

I was reading the Mirror today and noticed that the main headline (in large font) in the football section was Portsmouth 0 Southampton 1. I took a picture of it, but my forum account will not allow me to post it to this thread. As much as I enjoyed looking at it, I knew it wasn't true.

Just got back. I don't remember us having a single chance except the Lallana shot that was just tipped wide of the post. We were poor. Not tight enough at the back for one. When their winger got the ball we got three players to go after him. This left far too much space for their attacking players. Dan Harding would have had a better go at their winger. Losing Chaplow was gutting, and the sub should have been De Ridder. When he did come on, he was shoved up front and had no idea. Lallana was very frustrating to watch. I lost count of the amount of times he gave the ball away. Worst performance I have watched for a while. The worst part was the expected surge at the end never came. Not good enough. I wouldn't have minded losing as much if we had a go at goal.

Other than the electronic advertising boards, it is the thing i hate most about football. -

I would rather a packed house in a small ground than what MK Dons have ever other Saturday. -
Anyone else couldn't get there due to the trains

I had no trouble on the A34. -
I second the signing of a centre back and centre forward. I would get Hooiveld and Jordan Rhodes.
-
Just on the a34. A memorable away day. I thought we had lost it when the momentum swung to coventry. Guly was class. His holding play was key. We are a joy to watch.

This clip brings it all back. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6-_BIF0td0 I remember the celebrations at Watford when we got a last minute goal to get a point. I think i ended up on a different seat on a different row, but don't know how i got there.
-
Good first half performance, but lacked a centre forward. Guly and forte are not centre forwards. We need to sign a goal poacher who can play 90mins every week and get 25 goals in the season. Second half I thought we were poor, and the subs came too late. I am pleased with the win finally at the county ground.

Getting promotion should result in more than just the goals. We will have to wait until we are the featured game.
-
They had no idea. I felt like helping out.
-
On my way home. Amazing day. I will never forget. The saints were great as were the fans. All fun on Saturday with the nerves all week at work.
-
So if we win and Brighton win, is it a promotion party, or do we wait until it is all official? I only ask because it would be possible but improbable that Huddersfield could catch us if we lose the last two and they win their last one by a big margin.
