Without cheating? I took Dorchester into L1 through the play-offs, but then lost my best 3 players in the close season when the Chairman stepped in & accepted the offers. These basically payed off my debts & after lying bottom after 12 games, I jumped ship to Notts County I assumed it was impossible to go all the way -
I used to work with someone who played in the same Luton youth team as Hartson & Telfer - reckons he's a top,top bloke sad news

What's the furthest anyone has taken a club having started in Blue Sq South / North? -
Rupert done some good things for Saints, he also made some terrible mistakes He's history though, time to move on
-
I always felt Bradley needed regular games and a bit of love When his confidence is high, he can be a handful In L1, he would have scored over 15 goals

Unfortunately, the governing bodies have left it too late to do anything radical If they try to enforce salary caps etc, the big clubs will just breakaway and form their own governing body Sadly, the only eventuality that may lead to change, is a very large club going out of business Even then, it probably won't make too much difference

You're right I also notice Alan Pardew has come from nowhere to be 4th favourite

Very interesting development today Through my various connections, I know someone who works for Skybet There's somebody who Sky are not advertising as a runner, but have taken a steady stream of money on today Answer is.............................................. Christian Gross

Some of that article doesn't add up Does he really live in Dubai? It says he isn't really interested in football - Cortese claims he's an avid fan of a German 3rd division side (SSV Ulm) & could even name their number 31
-
I doubt it was enough to spend £13-£15M, but I understand he was fascinated by our history & was particularly delighted to see the original church is still standing, still in use & just around the corner
-
Is your hair curly? If so, grow your pubes, cut them off & use a solvent with no residue to stick them on your head Job done - saved £4000

Message from Big Ron...................don't make me laugh! When he gave the initial interview (just before we forked out for his hip operation), he clearly knew very little about modern day Saints He hardly painted a picture of a guy who is still an avid Saints fan If I remember correctly, he said George Best told him the result of the 76 cup final

His DOB is 29th September 1947 -
Yeah, I remember hearing (I think MWilde) that the club signed a 10 year agreement in 2001 when the ground opened
-
During Andy Oldknow's time here, he will have tapped into the supporters feelings on certain issues and players ML statement on re-engaging with supporters backs this up, which is why I'd be astonished if Hoddle was given the job
-
No chance of Martin Jol - he's just taken over at Ajax Christian Gross isn't a bad suggestion - experience of English football and highly rated in Switzerland

They've gone mate There's been a massive bet on WGS & prices have been removed Either it's an idiot punter or Liebherr has identified his man
-
They've just taken a massive hit on WGS Prices now removed

I think we should be realistically looking towards promotion the following season. If we achieve it this coming season, then great
-
His attitude stinks With new a owner in place, we don't have to lose sleep over a tosser like him Sell him
-
Robert Green could have got injured For Davis to turn down a Premier League opportunity, in order to remain with a team 10 points clear at the bottom of L1, is an amazing piece of loyalty
-
New beginnings...........buy a new mug Tim

Madonna's Like a Prayer Just like a prayer, Markus Leibherr

I thought he was going to be a superstar, and got quite angry when people slagged him off Come the end of the season, I had to eat my words He was absolutely terrible for the second half of the season. I think his head was turned by the Under 21 appearance & Fulham's apparant interest We should cash in & get rid of him IMO
