  1. The way I read it, I think it's pretty clear that Rickie didn't figure in the plans going forward (maybe due to his age, maybe they've got someone else lined up as a replacement already?) but the board are basically saying we're not in any need to sell or rush into anything, however on some occasions there might be a deal which is in the best interests of all parties, in which case there's no need to hold off progressing things. Seems reasonable to me.
  2. Also how long ago was Kelvin Davis our captain? Did he put that together last year!!
  3. Give it a day or so, I'm sure we'll get the customary message to saints fans from him, telling us how he enjoyed his time here, blah blah blah.
  4. Call him Bearsy, he'll never leave us!
  5. Can any Cornish saints confirm if this is normal behavior in Cornwall? :uhoh: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-cornwall-27643702 A man with a cow slurry fetish has been jailed for five years after threatening to kill a family who tried to stop him targeting their farm. David Truscott, 44, repeatedly rolled around naked in cow slurry and developed an obsession with a farm in Redruth, Cornwall. Exeter Crown Court heard that Truscott, formerly of Camborne, Cornwall, targeted the property for eight years. Last year he admitted making threats to kill and also damage property. Calf killed The court heard that he initially removed cow pats from the farm but his behaviour escalated, with Truscott regularly entering the farm to perform a sex act in slurry. The court was told he then decided to exact revenge on the owners when they erected bollards and removed slurry from their farm in a bid to deter him. Truscott, who was jailed in 2005, 2009 and 2011 for his actions at the property, repeatedly set fire to their shed, tractor, enclosures and hay - killing a calf in one blaze. On Friday he was handed an extended sentence of 10 years following psychiatric reports. Judge Philip Wassall said Truscott, who has autism spectrum disorder, would spend the first five years of his prison sentence receiving hospital treatment. He will serve an extended licence period of five years on release from prison. The judge also imposed an extended restraining order to keep him away from the farm.

  10. I think I speak on behalf of all muppets when I say that the main bored doom and gloom is still a more attractive proposition than talking about golf. You should know by now Phil, if you want to lure us into golf chit chat, you need to trick us with pictures of hot girls in golfing attire. Once you get us going, you can then start introducing discussions on casual slacks and pringle golfing jumpers. Only then is there any chance of us unwittingly starting to discuss getting a hole in one, or doing a birdie in a bunker, or whatever it is that you want us to talk about. Come on Phil, you know the drill.......................
  11. Was this the building that the BBC reported as having collapsed, whilst you could clearly see it still intact in the background at that point, behind their news reporter?
