But it is early days IF (like I said) you exclude the whole of pre-season and write that off. Assuming the start of the league 1 season was the start for Pardew (I can't recall when his first game was) then he's had 5 games (or 7 if you include cup games). We have something like 41 games left to go........ that to me means it is still early days (in my opinion, etc, etc). I'm gutted about the result today, but I still think we have a long way to go and I'm certainly not going to start calling for Pardews head just yet!

+1 Still early days if you write off the pre-season and basically count the first part of this season as Pardrews pre-season period - it's just using real games. Just heard some fool on radio Solent calling for Pardew out! Riiiiiiiiight, then what?

Likewise, I assume that the missing space between the words 'course' and 'have' was also just done to give me something to come back with?

I just got 50/1 on sky bet for this, as I also have a good feeling for this result today! I don't generally bother putting money on stuff. Although I did break that rule when we played Wolves in the cup in 2003. I was convinced that Chris Marsden was due a goal (no idea where this came for, let alone why I stuck about £30 on it, considering I don't think I had ever bet on anything before that!). So I was amazed when he got the first goal and I got enough cash to pay for my season ticket for the next season.

That is just amazing. Imagine how intimidating that would be as away team, now that's what I call getting behind your team. Interesting to see a few clips where the front section of seating has no-one in it, yet the top half looks packed (ie more people than there would be seats!) Is that because everyone has moved to the top half?, or is it not that busy at the back but just looks it?

Totally, and I should imagine this will be just after the point where Saints fans have mocked him and wound him up.

I keep getting loads of spam e-mails from yahoo addresses (usually from a girls name address) with links in them, no text just links. Obviously I don't click on the links, but there is a part of me that wonders what they are links too! I would put the links here but guess that's not wise, but just wondered if everyone deletes these things, or if any of you click on them? Are they links to porn? (good times) Or links to viruses? (bad times)

I think it's to do with when we got to the cup final in 2003. This obviously attracted a whole new group of kids who started following saints, rather than following one of the traditional 'big teams' they started to follow us. Now, 6 years on, they are closer to going through puberty and as such get a little over excited about stuff. I'm pretty sure that over the next couple of years their balls will drop and then they will get over the whole hoolie, look at me thing. Then once that excitement goes they'll settle into the more usual saints supporting experience and get used to the ups and downs that come with supporting saints
