Weston Saint, you beat me to saying pretty much the same thing then. (mental note to self, must type faster!)

To be fair I'd have though that part has happened. I would not have beleived what has happened was going to happen if someone had told me a year ago!

As someone who's lived in Bournemouth for the last 10 years, I do find the whole Saints Bournemouth thing funny, but sometimes a bit cringeworthy! Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a great fan of Bournemouth fans myself, however I’ve worn my saints shirt around town here loads of times and never had any grief other than being called a scummer. But then I’ve been called a scummer in plenty of places when wearing a Saints shirt, even when abroad. I actually like it, as to me it’s a reflection of jealousy (just my opinion). The thing is if a Bournemouth fan calls you a scummer, what’s the comeback? As least with the skates they have a derogatory name we can come back with, poor old Bournemouth, do they even have an offensive name? But my point is, as a saints fan, if you are in a different town to watch a game of football and you get called a scummer is that a massive surprise? Loads of people on here go on about Bournemouth fans having a chip on their shoulder and looking up at us as their local rivals, when there is no real rivalry. Yet people on here seem quick to state their dislike for them, why is that then if there is no rivalry from us? Kipi, you can't have looked very far if you think the place is a bumhole and has no decent pubs!! There are shed loads of pubs across Bournemouth catering for all sorts of tastes. Wow a pub was boarded up, oh noes, a town with a pub that’s closed down. Are you sure you didn't just look around Boscombe near where Dean Court is, as to be fair your statement would then be correct, likewise if you head from Bournemouth Station towards the ground there are not a lot of pubs, but Bounemouth generally has loads of pubs. As for it being a bumholm of a town…. LOL! I don’t even know where to start with that! I moved her in ’99 as it was one of the nicest towns I’d ever visited. Yes there are some dogturd areas (but aren’t there everywhere!). I went to the Bournemouth Saints friendly at the start of this season and by the time I got there it was pretty full so I was down towards the corner where all our ‘yoof’ were at the back. Oh how I cringed at them all singing ‘you’re just a town full of pikeys’ over and over….. oh the irony! My dislikes are: Skates – No explanation needs Derby – The way they came on to the pitch and mocked us after the play-off game was sickening Spurs – From the days of Hoddle, now they are managed by an equally annoying *****. Newcastle – Fans generally seemed to think they were always a top four club, despite not having been there for ages. Hopefully relegation will bring them back to the real world. Other clubs I look out for: Villa – Couple of mates who support them, so keep an eye out for their team just as they seem to do for Saints Southend – After the SpongeBob love-in match I will always wish them well

I thought a couple of times yesterday in the second half the singing was louder than it has been for a while at home. I loved the 'Oh When The Saints' being sang slow, just for a change people kept it slow long enough for a lot more people to join in than usual, really sounded impressive.

If this was on facebook and my name was Spudgun in real life, it would now have a little 'thumbs up' under it, saying spudgun likes this. Never before has there been a post that pretty much sums up word for word how I have felt recently about our two different clubs and their respective siuations. Even at our lowest point, it still made me smile to see that they were en route for an even bigger fall.

How about - The Secret Diary of Corp Ho Aged 13¾

I see there were a couple of comments on there where fans of other teams clearly still think that saints have money problems!

Fair play, I think it shows real commitment to internet nerdary when a person is drunk, it’s the middle of the night, yet they still think about posting on the forum Reeeeeeespect.

1800 saints fans, impressive away support again!

I assume when it's due for renewal they will tell you how. Personally I shall be ignoring that email. If only I had realised I could listen to it on the radio before I paid my years subscription, I could have saved a few quid.

I like it....... I like it a lot.

For the first time ever Saints player has...
Spudders replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
It really was a strange game. You are right we really could have got more goals, yet at some points we were awful. It shows how far we have come when we come away with 3 points after missing chances and playing poorly. It also shows just how bad Wycombe are! -

It was painful to watch the first time around -
http://portsmouth-fans.blogspot.com/2009/11/african-cup-of-nations-to-sink-pompeys.html Club captain Aaron Mokoena won't be travelling for the competition after South Africa failed to qualify, but Pompey will be losing the likes of N****wo Kanu and John Utaka to Nigeria, Hassan Yedba and Nadir Belhadj to Algeria, Aruna Dindane to Ivory Coast, and the possibility of Kevin-Prince Boateng to Ghana if he gets called up

I am amazed Faraj bought the club in October but still hasn't even visited the place yet! What kind of person buys a football club but doesn't go see what they have bought? (although to be fair, he's probably better of not seeing what he's purchased!)

You can get one of the standard 3G iphones (8g) for FREE now on Orange. £29 per month contract, sign up for 18 months, 150 minutes free per month, 250 texts free per month and it's easy to keep your old number. Or the new 3GS 16GB iphone you can get for £125 if you sign up for 24 months. I've been on Vodafone for years but I'm gonna move across to Orange next week to get one. Have a look at the various deals here........ http://shop.orange.co.uk/iphone/choose-your-plan

I thought that, but after signing up I found out I can listen to the games on the radio here in Bournemouth, so have now changed my tune and feel I am paying £4 a month for commentaries I can also get for free....what a tool.

I like his quotes about the Boots advert!............ "I usually quite like women, but this advert makes me want to kill about 900 of them with my bare hands. It ends with the tiresome ladettes marching down a high street triumphantly singing the Here Come the Girls song out loud, like an invading squadron tormenting the natives with its war cry. Next year they'll probably be armed. Fear this."

I never understand why when Kelvin takes a goal kick, he just boots it up the field? Surely every time he does that it's 50/50 as to if we get the ball or the opposition gets it. Surely he'd be better off with a short pass to a defender, who in turn kicks it on, etc, etc (at least we have a better chance of keeping posession). I'm clueless at tac-tics but even I can see that his kicks up the middle are a gamble each time.
