  2. I live in Bournemouth and have no worries about getting the train up when they play at St Mary's. As with all teams fans there are bound to be a few mongs, but generally they are fine here and don't hate Saints at all. I know a couple of season ticket holders at Dean Court who always look out for Saints results, just as I do for theirs. As someone else said on here has already said, there's never any issue with wearing Saints shirts around here. I thought it was pretty funny at the pre-season friendly last year when a bunch of our 'yoof' were singing to the Bournemouth fans "Your just a town full of pikeys" oh the irony!!! Also looking forward to an ‘away’ game being quicker to get to than home games! lol
  3. Did anyone else use this postcode and find themeselves at a cottage in a country lane rather than at Huish park!!!! It is the correct one, Sat nav's really can be rubbish sometimes can't they!
  4. This made me laugh I reckon the Carlise fans would love that!
  5. When I purchased my tickets for the pre season games I was told not to tell StuRomseySaint or ladysaint. Not sure what you two have done to upset the club?
  6. Agree, that was half an hour of boringness condensed into 15 minutes.
  7. Saying that sort of thing really is asking for trouble in the muppet show!
  8. FFS
  9. I think you may have slept through a whole series, as this is the third series of Ashes to Ashes starting Friday
  10. I'm not sure, do you think if Dell Days pretends to be Polish that may help his case?
  11. Hummm, well based on the fact the my mate was recently hit head-on by a polish guy overtaking at speed on a single carriageway and the polish guy didn't get any points or a fine, but just had to attend a driving skills course, I would anticipate that once you confirm it was you driving the car, you will receive a picnic hamper, some holiday vouchers for Devon Cliffs holiday park in Exmouth and a bottle of blue nun. Good luck.
  12. Which was best? As much as I loved the JPT final and it was great to win some silverware, I have to be honest and say I feel the 2003 FA cup final was the better day out. Just wondering what everyone else thinks?
  13. Well if you say so. I'm pretty sure the booing wasn't at NC, but was where the carlise fans didn't carry on the Mexican wave, but to be honest I only have being there to go by. If the tv coverage implies it was at NC then fair enough. I'll choose to stick with what I heard at the game, but it seems like things have been misunderstood on the tv to me?
  14. There were no boos at all from where I was, only cheers and lots of respect for both NC and ML. I find it strange that this is even being talked about, it's almost like some people are still not happy unless they're moaning, even after we've just won a cup final.
  15. Doh boooo
  16. Hummm it's a very thin line between collecting stuff and just buying it because you like it and I'm pretty sure many people will think I am a bit sad having a lot of pairs of trainers but I don't class myself as a collector! I see the line as being wearing them or not wearing them. Like you say, that's what they are for!
  17. Ooooh snap, just counted mine and also have 15 pairs, so can't do the old 'my collection is bigger than yours' thing! Don't really collect them as such but I do like some of the older trainers. My favourites (and most costly) are both pairs of Roms I bought (both pairs the originals and not the reissues), got ones with blue trim which I prefer, but also got some of the green ones that were only issued to the west (or was it east?) German police back in the 80's. They are the rarest, but a bit of a snug fit, so don't wear them so much. Keeping my eye out for some red Roms on ebay but they only ever seem to have the re-issues. What are you £130 ones?
  18. lol, just to clarify after my post, I don't atually collect them, I just happen to have a lot of them. I know what you mean though, people keep them in boxes and don't even wear them, but I wear all mine. people do collect some odd things though, I know someone who collects coke cans & bottles!
  19. Jesus, I've got a bit of a collection of adidas trainers and I've paid over £100 for them on a few occasion. But those just look awful. Not sure why anyone would want to spend that amount on them!
  20. People behind you shouting so hard that their spit keeps landing on your bald head. Having a bald head.
  21. Watched the game tonight against Milan in Ireland so listening to Irish commentary. They said something about the yellow & green scarfs seling out, so people have been buying them from Norwich instead! lol
  22. That reminds me of the simpsons episode where Bart releases some lizards into the wild and they kill all the pigeons. They then worry about the town becoming over run with lizards, but it's suggested that when that happens they will release snakes to wipe out the lizards
  23. Have someone blow a horn of some sort desperatly out of tune
  24. Ah, I knew someone who had a ticket for sale in the Northam earlier, cold have got you in
  25. Bookies favourites, hummmmm, just about, not a lot in it though!
